Sometimes the CIC will return applications for very small reasons. Just a few months ago many people had their applications returned because they didn't include forms that weren't applicable.

OK. Got it. Will redo mine too then.

It's still likely that the CIC won't return our applications because of this, but I like to err on the side of caution with the CIC. It's just that you never know when something like what I referred to will happen.

well I was worried but now I am not anymore because there is no change in what question we had to answer just a word? right!!!

;)

is there anything else what changed for outside Common law sponsorship?

That was the only form. The doc checklist was updated in feb but seeing as were all april applicants we should be fine!

Can someone please tell me if I need to include the forms(e.g. Representative form) in the application? If yes, should I include them blank or put a big cross-mark on the first page?

Only include forms that are applicable. If you don't have a representative, don't include the form. If you want to make it a little more obvious that it isn't applicable, write "NA" on the checklist next to the items that aren't applicable.

Hi all,

Hoping to get some help here.
I applied for an inland application but got a job offer to work in Switzerland (not my home country) temporarily, i've been told this means I should cancel my application and start an outland one. Has anyone got experience cancelling and restarting a new application? I would love to get the old application back but am afraid I probably won't

just finishing our application.
Hope to send it of this weekend

;D

anyone applying through vienna?

I can now finally say I belong to this group. This forum has been my guide ever since I started preparing my application. Good luck to us! :)

Does anyone know what the Ottawa visa office is for? I thought all outland application will be sent to visa office in other countries until I saw Ottawa visa office is one of them.

Can anyone please tell me how important is it to write an essay(except detailed answer to question 9 in sponsor questionnaire)? I am thinking to skip it as I am going to include all the proofs(photos, emails, chats, other documents) to prove our relationship genuine.

thanks

Usually for US applicants; however, this is not so much the case anymore.

Hi All!

Hoping to be joining this group soon as well! Canadian sponsoring my German Husband. He lives here with me right now while on an IEC visa. We're looking to file within the next week or so, just have to translate his police cert, get his photos done and check over all our forms.

Can't wait to get the application sent! Our Visa office would be Vienna, unless they send it to Ottawa...
