I'd wait a little longer. You got AOR on Saturday, right? It can take a little while to be able to update eCAS. I think it may have taken me around a week, maybe a little less. Also, make sure you're using the sponsor's information with the UCI given in the AOR email.amans2515 said:I cannot access ecas till now.. Should i call CIC regarding this?
I will be happy with AOR 1 for now lol! I know it's not quite enough time for me yet though, they only received my app 14 days ago. but soooooon!!!johnybegood said:Thank you everyone for wishing me congrats

The current processing time for SA is 41 days from the day they received your application, however it seems to be taking a little longer right now.rashu268 said:Guys,

That's ok ;D. You're correct. Even though the CIC still states 41 days for SA, the average is looking like 43+ now.johnybegood said:lmfao ....didnt see your post though....sorry
Seems to have picked up again. Prob after the initial speed theyve started getting backed up again. Also more syrian refugee cases right now so probably resources diverted.Decoy24601 said:That's ok ;D. You're correct. I remember reading something about how family class applications wouldn't be affected because that's not where they were being diverted from or that the people dealing with refugee cases would all be new hires, can't remember specifically though. During the last time syrian refugee applications were processed I didn't see any slowing down in applications. Plus, SA normally fluctuates between 30-60 days throughout the year.Gary_87 said:Seems to have picked up again. Prob after the initial speed theyve started getting backed up again. Still 40ish days isnt bad. Less than 2 months still.
Another quiet day from cic though for the april group.
I'm fairly certain that not declaring his child would be considered misrepresentation. Declare the child and explain what you did here.Avicon2016 said:Hi! I have a question on Sponsor Questionnaire. My husband who is sponsoring me has a kid and he signed the document that shows he's the biological father. The mother though refuse financial support and visitation as she's also with another man. Actually my husband isn't sure if it's his but he signed as the father anyway . In the Sponsor Questionnaire, it asks: List your children , including those from your previous relationship./ If any of your kid do not live with you, give details of your formal / informal visiting rights. Indicate how often you visit your children and if you provide any financial support for them.
My question is, would it be possible for him not to declare his child? He signed in the birth certificate but would they find out if the check his background?
you seem to have very professional knowledge regarding immigration and i appreciate you for taking your time and advising people with relevant straight forward and valid ideas that might benefit people greatly during immigration.i have also seen people answering ignorantly and little common sense too.i thank you on behalf of everyone being served in this forum with your postsDecoy24601 said:I'm fairly certain that not declaring his child would be considered misrepresentation.
