Good news, I got my COPR in the mail today!

My husband pulled a prank on me though. He came in with mail and he said it's "only junk mail". I went to walk away and he said "By the way, it's here" in a monotonous tone. We're celebrating by buying really good bacon for now.

It was issued on June 7th valid until March 30, 2017 with Condition 51, which won't be an issue for me. I'll probably be landing within a month or two though.

A very big congrats to you.. Please find time to come online with all your helpful comments for those of us still in the process

Thank you! I will still be on here. I might be on here a little less when I start working again, but I should still browse here at least once a day.

Hah, it's alright ;D. It got lost at the end of a page. Thank you very much. I hope your application doesn't take too long. It's a good sign that it's already in process with a processing line plus an AOR2 and PCC/RPRF request. Now would be a good time to start ordering notes if you haven't already.

As for reducing pdf sizes, sorry, but I don't know anything beyond what freeze has already said.

Sometimes sites won't accept a file if the extension not in a proper format. For example, it would accept File.pdf but not File.PDF

So try renaming your file so that the extension is capitalized if it wasn't before, or vice versa.

Also, you can try using a different browser.

Thank you ;D, it sure made mine. I still need to go back to the U.S. to collect a couple boxes I have stored at my sister's place. It'll be weird after I land not having to worry about crossing the border anymore. It still stressed me out to think about because of my bad experiences.

Hi all,
My wife is Canadian, we have applied , she Sponsors me
If we got the letter from CIC saying:
“you meet the requirements for eligibility as sponsor… we pass the file to the corresponding Visa office...”

Does it mean that she is already approved as Sponsor?
Or that the process for her approval keeps going on?

Cheers

Yes, that means she has been approved as the sponsor. Your file will be transferred to the visa office they mention to process your part of the application.

Hi Decoy,

thanks for your answer,

So if that letter was of 13th May, being the VISA office PARIS, and according to the times on the 2016 Outland Spreadsheet, the Decision should be as average not more than 90 days from that Sponsorship approval letter (if everything is OK in the documents, for sure)

Note: I am spanish , and we have 2 babies that also have Canadian Citizenship

Thank you and Best Regards

You're welcome. Yes, that would be a fair estimate. Hopefully, it takes even less time for you. Good luck!

Congrats Decoy!
