Any ideas on how long a requested document delays the process? Do they tend to revisit the application say 30 days later or is it throw some paper in the air and pick one up?

It's really too bad that the officer didn't contact the person about it and give them a second chance... but it doesn't surprise me unfortunately . At least Warsaw is a faster VO so it won't take another year when they reapply, but still, that's terrible.

It depends on how much of a backlog that office has. Normally, if they have to request documents they will put the application back in the processing queue. A few Ottawa applicants lately have had document requests, sent the documents that day or the next, and received a decision within a few days, but that's Ottawa. Who knows if they just don't have a backlog anymore or if the CIC is using them as a pilot office to test out some new procedures/policies.

With CPC-M I'm not sure how long it would delay SA. It could be as little as a couple weeks, but it may be longer since CPC-M is so backed up right now.

I'm thinking about ordering notes. I'm really curious if eligibility has passed.

did you try ordering notes? are we able to see what's happening to our PA's papers? i'm curious too.

Look my timeline; I sent the option C of 2014; cuz 2015 tax return wasn't ready; when I sent my initiAl application. I faxed in 2015 return without they asked on May 12...looks like I delayed my own application...what did they ask u to submit.

look at my timeline.. lol. no SA for me. I told my wife yesterday; i gonna wait for her regardless. will never give up. i am in my 70 days wait. no SA. still pending, called many times and asked MP's assistance. the same answer, still reviewing.

I have called CIC today, the lady confirmed that I was approved last friday ans that I should reeceive a mail soon. She doesn't understand why I can't acceaa my ECAS. Suggested to fill out the form and report it.
I received my AOR1 on May 7th and mybapplication waa received on April 19.

I doubt that. I submitted information/documents twice as well before SA and we had a decision at 51 days. I think it's more likely that you've just been incredibly unfortunate (which I'm very sorry about) with processing times.

yep. i called in so many times, including last friday. i am kinda give up calling. maybe i will do another one this weekend.

If your application has gone "in process" on the PA side, then it's possible by ordering notes that you can see information about the PA. I haven't ordered them yet, since my application only went "in process" with a third line a few days ago, but I'm thinking about ordering them soon.

This process is torture! I just finished reading on the warsaw thread about a refusal. The poor people first got a decision made on ecas so of course were very happy and excited. Only to suddenly get a refusal email because they had not shown for an interview that they did not even know about. I can only imagine how horrible this would be. Now you worry every day that you may have missed a non existing email or letter.

How can this be possible to happen?? A decision made on ECAS but only to realized later that your visa has been denied thru a refusal letter? They didn't even got the chance to be interviewed. They weren't informed. No emails nor letters. Omg! that was ridiculous!

That was so sweet of you to say. I hope you get it!! I know how it feels like to face every morning knowing that your significant other is miles away from you. Don't lose hope! I think everyone on this thread feels the same way.

While I agree with you, this could have easily fallen between note batches, since Warsaw is such a fast VO. They could have ended up with the same situation.

While Warsaw is a fast VO, they give at least 4 weeks notice of the date of the interview and they weren't refused until over two months after the interview date.
