I went on Monday afternoon and I was able to apply for the passport so I paid 50$ and got it wednesday morning and took my flight on thursday with my canadian passport.
I feel happy that everything is over now
Hope you will get yours very soon and good luck in your oath today enjoy it

Finally Canadian citizen )) The ceremony was good, 380 applicant from 42 countries. Feeling proud and happy that this citizenship application process saga had come to an end.

Same as yours. If you see a very pregnant lady with a little boy (that would prolly sing O Canada the loudest) and husband in tow, that will be me. My husband insists they will accompany me as I could be having our baby anytime next week. Will you be with your family too?

Kismet... That's great. .. if i spot you... i will come and say hi... my family may or maynot be there... my wife has her oath next week and we both have a crazy work schedule... but we are trying our best to attend the other persons oath ceremony... its a big momen t in our lives...

WWOOOOOWWW!! 380!! that is a lot of people lol....Mine were like 56 or so!!! Anyways, Congratulations!! The saga and the wait is over!!

Now get ready to ask for your passport on Monday! .

If it helps (and you want to save more time) DO NOT go to passport canada downtown!! Check passport canada page and go to another outlet...where you can get your application done in less than one hour, instead of waiting for half day in the line to be called!
