Hello,

I am from Montreal, and did receive my test invitation for Nov 10 2015...
Now time to start reading and practicing...
Babi22, I see we are having the test on the same date.... how is your preparation going so far... I noticed a lot of dates to remember.

Hi Alisson, yes we are having the test the same day.
Just going through the book for the 2nd time. Did some tests online and all seem good.
I guess you will just need to go through the book 3 or 4 times then you will be prepared...

Good luck :)

ECAS changed for me and my husband today to : DECISION MADE. :D Yepeeee...were told 3-5 months (Vancouver) for oath ceremony and I just cant wait. I want to bring my Canadian kids in for them to see the ceremony as we talk about it lots and what it means to us. Please update our info for others to see the timeline. Thank you

Congratulation to you both!! :)
Could you give the details of what happened in the test/interview. I am going for my test tomorrow and it would be really helpful.

Thanks

Here's my partners experience and timeline:

Application sent via fedex: April 22nd 2015
Application received: April 26 2015
AOR: June 5 2015
Ecase in process: Sometime in late July/early August
Test Notice via snail mail: Two weeks before test date
Test Date: Oct 16 2015
Decision Made: October 20 2015

For my partner the test was relatively stress free. Remember when studying the guide book to also take note of those sidebar items and facts. Post test the immigration officer was friendly to my partner. Looked over documents and had a nice conversation (chatted about travel, Toronto). The entire interview process took less than 5-10 mins. However I'm sure it's case dependent, as noted others had to show and prove each of their travel dates, etc. So only thing to really note is bring all supporting documents, and don't stress about it.

I passed my test this morning. 18/20. now , the final step, the OATH ;D
