Yes it should show on Ecas (although I read some post saying that it did not for them) but for most people it should show.

July 22nd is not too far. Mine is in process since June 23rd and no transfer to local office yet...

Was it additional documentation they asked you for ? finger prints ?

It was just additional documents. I wonder if it is possible to receive a second request after that.

I'm about to request the information form CIC about my application,

Should I request ATIP info (as everyone is doing), or the Privary Act information ? I just found these 2 options...

Usually depends on your profile, I would think they will not request something else from you as they already got the info they were looking for (what you sent them already).

They might issue an RQ at the test if there are some issues with your application (but again, depends on your profile and how the test/interview goes)... but for normal processing, they will not ask anything else.

Hey! I got my case moving!

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 7, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 3, 2015.
We started processing your application on June 24, 2015.
We sent you a notice on August 17, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on September 2, 2015 at 8:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

It's my birthday today, so I assume CIC made me a present!

Good luck to everybody!

Spreadsheet says he/she is from Quebec city

Thanks Zoya. Can't open the spreadsheet from my phone for an unknown reason! If he is from Quebec city, I guess his local office would be Montreal.

Still would like to know if his ecas showed "transferred to local office" or not!

Finally my wife has been invited to take oath of Citizenship on 01/09/15. I have both mixed emotions(happy/sad) as i am moving to Canada on 02/09/15 and i won't be able to be with her during this moment of joy. Now we are thinking about rescheduling the oath but only if she gets invited to a ceremony soon, well she will be calling CIC tomorrow morning to find out about the possibilities.

The transfer to local office line never appeared at eCAS or it appeared and disappeared so fast that I didn't notice that. And you are right, I'm from Quebec City

Is your wife an April applicant ? That would make her the first April 2015 applicant to receive oath call.

Congrats Denndell.

I am from Montreal too, we have almost the same timeline until the transfer to local office... my application is still in Sydney and did not transfer yet to Montreal :(

Did you apply with urgent processin request? Did you travel the last 4 years? And are you fully employed in Canada, self employed...? Just trying to find some explanation for the delays my application is taking...

Hi Guys,

I'm about to request the information form CIC about my application,

Should I request through Access to Information Act or Privacy Act ?

Should I order email or CD ?

I guess the "Type of records" is : Case file ?

Notes in Electronic file or Physical file ?

Thanks.
