How long takes to get an test invite? an urgent trip happens for two week so is it possible that they call us in one month? I haven't start to read Citizenship book!

- got acknowledgement Apr-23
- Start processing on June-09
- Your file was transferred to the responsible for your area on Jun23, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

Now question is how the local ofc will contact me; is it email/mail/phone call and how long they will take for that?

For test/interview invite, cic will contact you usually through mail. If you have provided email address in the application, then you might receive an email.
Percentage of people getting email test/interview invite is small in number.

I would suggest you to keep and eye on your mailbox & email both.

You should try your client ID# to access ecas or try or pr card number on the back of the pr card.

Try various options from the drop down menu of "Identification Type"
Also make sure you enter your proper last name/family name/surname.

If it still does not work, please contact call centre at 1-888-242-2100

Hi All

Request you to please also mention in your updates which location you are from... From i've been noticing through this tracker is that Vancouver, Calgary and most of the cities in the west are moving much faster... vs. Toronto, Missisauga....

This group is amazing in posting updates and is very helpful to me in tracking when to expect my next step...

Thank you for your response coolguysam. I tried every way i can think of to check the status on ecas but it is not active for me.

I just called the cic office and the lady said sorry i can't help you until 24 months have passed. I tried requesting her to check but she refused.

I'll try again in a few days and hopefully someone else will answer.
