We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 10, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 21, 2015.
We started processing your application on July 15, 2015.

No idea what my local office is, how have you guys been finding that out?

Local office is your own city where you live and have applied from or the nearest main city like Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Vancouver or Calgary if you live in a small city or town.

the meaning of 'In-Process'. Does it mean
that file has been transferred to Local office.
kindly advise.

well, not necessary. In Process actually means that CIC has now started reviewing the documents and facts that you submitted to them claiming that you are now eligible for Canadian citizenship and also that the documents you submitted substantiate your claim for grant of Canadian citizenship.

thanks april2015. my file is also
InProcess status. As you will remember i submitted
an amendment to CPC, Sydney related to a missing
address. My amendment was received by them on June 22.
I was not sure if they attached the amendment to my file.
I was just curious what In Process means. I was planning to
send the amendment to local office also if InProcess
means that the file has been transferred to local office.. as I dont know
where my file is, or if amendment was attached to file ....but I understand
what u wrote above

Congrats! next step is to just wait for test invite if hopefully there are no concerns or request from CIC for any additional documents. There's no definite timeline, however, it seems that it should not take more than 2 to 3 months for this long journey to come to an end

I agree. hopefully our e-case shows LOT within coming 1-2 weeks. how long do you think based on the new processing times update (which is more clear for April applicants than that was written before).

Not sure what CIC s doing in the System.
Till yesterday it was showing my correct current home address.
Now when I logged online in CAS, its showing my current home address
as home address I had used during my spousal sponsorship 3 yrs back.
Not sure what they are doing in the system after IN Process. It is creating
so much confusion. kindly inform if someone witnessed something similar.
