Hope the movement for the GTA applicants continues. Would love to see my application go into process in the next couple of days.

I have 2 question: Could one receive a test notice without the e-case is updated to LOT (still showing we started processing your application..)
the other one: what that means processing is started but file was not transferred to local office, is not it the local office that is responsible for file processing

Guys, I was reading the posts on Mississauga Office Applicants. Interestingly some Mississauga applicants are now getting test invites to write their tests in Scarborough. It seems that Mississauga office lately got overwhelmed which is why they have started seeking assistance from Scarborough office to ease their pressure, hence, are now in a position to accept new applications so this is a good news for all of you whose status is still showing "Received", hopefully your cases too will go "In Process" soon. Good Luck! :)

This is a great news!!! I hope our application will soon move to in process. Mine still shows received (for the longest time now). Where do you get the information? Is it available on their site?

Have a good day everyone!

Hey guys!

I just want to know your thoughts about my application!
when i applied for my citizenship i only submitted what CIC requested according to their list!
I haven't submitted any T4 or rent, assets etc! do you think it is an issue!?
my application is in process and i am hoping to get my test within 2 months.
Any comments or information would be appreciated from you guys!

It is always recommended to only send what CIC is asked in the document checklist. While some people have sent more documents and think it helped their case but there is always suspicion that it might back fire!

I am reading the posts here in Canada Visa Forum under Mississauga Office Applicants, you too can visit that section and have more updates there :)

Folks,

Great news. CIC has updated the estimated processing times for citizenship applications.

If your application was received by the CIC (AOR Date) on or after April 1, 2015, then processing time will be 12 months or less.

If your application was received by the CIC (AOR Date) Before April 1, 2015, then processing times will be by March 31, 2016 or before. These applicants can expect a decision by March 31, 2016 or 24 months after applying, whichever date comes first.

Check it here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/cit-processing.asp

Good Luck to All.
