April 2015 citizenship Applicants

Morning everyone,

My Ecas just got activated

It says :

Status: Received

Citizenship

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 23, 2015.

2. We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 20, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

They did not start processing it then, could take few days I guess...

They say a letter acknowledging receipt on my application has been sent. I think this is an automatic message and they only send the one by email (no post mail).

1. I am from Alberta and my Quadrant "NW" doesn't appear in my address even though rest of the address is correct. Anybody is experiencing similar thing?

2. When does the status changes to "Processing" from "Received" and how long it takes?

finally I got AOR...

I sent my app in last week of march; that was returned and I sent again my app in april - reached there in 3rd week of april.

applications reached with-in 1st week of april - were responded in 9 to 10 days. (my app was reviewed on 9th day)
applications reached in 3rd week of april - are getting response in (approx.) 30+ days. (re-submission, my app got response on 33-34 days).

as per my experience, you might get response in by end of first week of June.

Got my AOR today

Application was received by CIC on 22nd April.

True it became slower, CIC probably getting flood by applications coz of 4/6 rules and it started mid-April.

finally I got AOR...

Hi All,

I've just been to the excel sheet online for April applicants. I noticed that no body has his Ecas moved to InProcess !!! Is this a correct information or people are just not filling this information in ? Does this mean that CIC is opening our applications, sending AoR then not going back them in a while ???

I am new to this forum. I have submitted my application on April 23rd 2015 and received by CIC on April 27th 2015. No response from CIC yet. Is there anyone with the same timeline? have you guys received any response yet?

You might hear soon from them. Currently the latest one I saw is from April 23rd.
