The website says the followingGuys, What are the rules if you travel abroad during Citizenship process?
2-3 days travel ok? 10-12 day travel ok?
I really mean travel, not applying and leaving for couple of months then come back,
While we process your application, you should only contact CIC if:
you change your address,
you plan to leave Canada for more than two weeks in a row,
you are charged with a crime or
we do not contact you about your file within the posted processing times.
So if you plan to leave that will be more than 2 weeks you should call the CIC call center and make them aware of it.
