hey guys! just want to update you, just receive email from may visa office and they are requesting for RPRfee but not PPR yet. But this is a good sign isnt it? :D ;)

Got my AOR 2 from ADVO today and also got my Additional document request in PDF form


1. An IMM5669-Schedule A Background/Declaration Form completed and signed by yourself. If the principal applicant is a minor, parents or custodians may sign on the principal applicant's behalf. If you have already submitted a Schedule 1 or Schedule A Background/Declaration Form in your initial application, you are being required to submit a new one because you either have not accurately
answered all the questions or did not answer 1 or more questions. ALL questions must be answered and must be answered truthfully and must be up-to-date. Do not use general words such as "employee", "working", "manager". No gaps allowed in questions 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. Applicants must account for every month and year since their 18th birthday or the past 10 years, which ever is most recent. This form can be downloaded online athttp://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.PDFand is electronically fillable. If you are not going to use a computer or a typewriter, you must write legibly. You and your dependent(s), if applicable, must answer all questions (if not applicable, write "N/A").

2. Please complete and return to our office the Residency Questionnaire (See Annex A -1 below). This should be completed by the principal applicant only and not your sponsor. Please answer ALL questions on the form. Answers must be in English or French. Please write legibly.

3. Proof that your Permanent Resident sponsor is currently residing in Canada and has been residing in Canada since the sponsorship was submitted. If your sponsor is currently residing in Canada, please provide copies of Canadian tax documents (Notice of Assessment (NOA), T1 and T4); three (3) recent pay stubs and any other document which proves that your sponsor is living in Canada.


4. Your employment contract/certificate from your current employer written on the company's official letterhead. This must include the job title and period of employment. If this document is written in a language other than English or French it must be translated in English or French by a professional translator. The copy of the original document must be attached with the professional translation.

5. Copy of KSA residence visas for yourself and your sponsor

mabrouk! at least your file is moving forward ... just provide what is being asked the soonest for speedy processing :) im also hoping to hear from ADVO soon.

My hubby received PGR request today by email!! Wooo hooo. They also asked for updated forms of personal history.
I hope this means interview is waived!

Had a lovely phone call today from CIC , asked me 1 question then proceeded to tell me i have been approved for sponsorship and my file has been sent to the U.K. Then 2 mins later i received a pdf with my letter of approval ..Yeahhhhhhhhh

Awesome Taffy, SA was a long time coming for you. Hope 2nd half goes quicker.

I'm hoping it will go smoothly .. It has been suggested that they may put my file back in with the April applicants. That would be great news. Honestly i just needed this part over with , now i can relax a bit . Hubby coming over in 17 more days for a little visit, lets hope he don't get any hassle from cbsa.Thank you for all the well wishes :D

make sure he has proof of his application. they will look him up in the system to confirm it's been received and let him in. soooo much easier to cross when an application is submitted.

He doesn't have any proof i have all the paper work . What should i take with me to the airport . I don't have time to send anything to him now.

your SA letter for sure, and receipts of your fees paid. marriage certificate is helpful too sometimes. they can just use his passport to check the status of his app. they don't need anything specific from cic. he can always say "i have an app submitted, my wife has all the paperwork."
