I did my landing at rainbow bridge, after a long wait this process is finally over. The whole process was really quick. I went to the rainbow bridge on foot and crossed to US side, they took leess than a minute to give me flagpole paper (I have a US visa but officer said you don't need it as you are not coming in), went back to Canadian side the custom officer sent me to Immigration building where they took 15-20 mins and called my name to sign COPR and thats it. I think it took me like 1 hour to get the whole thing done. I guess it was easier cuz it was a weekday .

You all here have been great help, I can't thank you enough. I wish each and every person waiting all the best, I pray and hope you get your PRs soon.

Hi All,

God is really good! I received my PPR yesterday. :) Quick question though, is there a difference sending by post or courier? Which of the two should I choose, post or courier? :))))))))

Thanks!

I got my PPR yesterday as well! I did what they recommended and bought two Canada post xpress envelopes (with tracking).

Hi harshad patel,

I did my medical last June 5, 2015 and for some reason I got my RPRF June 3 2015. I paid my RPRF June 6 because it was just that day when I checked my email.

I received my PPR yesterday June 16 2015 and sent my passport, PPR print out and return envelope today via express post.

Hi Admins,

As informed in my previous post, I received Ready for Visa (PPR) email yesterday June 16, 2015. I just send the passports as per their instructions and now tracking the envelopes like an owl... :o

Please update tracking sheet accordingly.

Thanks and have a great day.

Hi Epp;

I got married in March 2015, add my wife to the application in April 2015 via email. Then submit the extra necessary forms I got from immigration office in May 2015. After two weeks they ask the extra wedding pics, I submit that at the end of May 2015. Since then I did not hear anything from the immigration officie. I am still waiting for medical. Of course they change my online status from Application received to In process at 2nd June 2015.

regards

I have a question.
When u r done with ur medical does ur consultant need to send any thing to the immigration regarding ur medical exam.

If you are not getting any email from delhi or CPC for sending application to new delhi.. send an email to Delhi office, asking them to suggeust future course of action, continuing on the same email chain which you sent the email to CPC.

You will hear back from delhi office within 2 days with an attachment letter asking you to submit passports in delhi

Hi EPP,

Much updates from me as I didn't had a chance to keep the forum updated for last few months. CIC started processing my file by 1st week of March. They asked me to provide evidence to live outside QC and second set of Indian PCC. (I submitted first set along with my application)
These things took about 2 months and I received PPR on 1st week of May. Requested to change VO to New Delhi and received updated PPR email on last week of May. Got my COPR and stamped passports on 10th of June.

Cheers, JSB.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! All the best in the new phase of your life!

My ECAS just changed today to "decision made". I'm guessing that's a good thing??

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 28, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on June 3, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) ;) ;D

I just got the Confirmation of Permanent Residence document on the mail! :D
