Got the RPRF email today! Yay! What are the chances of refusal at this stage? Thanks

Dude... Urs is also done..... Expect PPR within 2 to 3 days.. Provided u have already paid RPRF by now

Hi guys,

I have had no news since the AOR back in june 2014.

I received the Medical Request yesterday, the 10th and today I received an Request for RPRF payment.
I'm traveling for work outside the country and I will be back in 2 weeks. I'll do the Medicals then.

I'm supposed to send my country's biodata. It wasn't requested. Does it mean that it will not be since I already received RPRF ?

No news from my side unfortunately. My status changed to 'In Process' in February, I got the RPRF request in March and paid that right away, nothing since then... I sent Ottawa an email to change my address 2 weeks ago, up till now my address has not changed in E-CAS and I have not had a reply on my email. I have tried to call CIC, however that number can only be reached from inside Canada, but I moved back to The Netherlands. So really no way for me to communicate with CIC... Wandering what the hold up is since RPRF, if something was wrong or if they need documents/info, I would have expected a request for that. But it just has been dead silent since RPRF...:(

try getting GCMS notes..
you can also try a case specific inquiry..but usually they might not answer back on that..GCMS would be the best bet

Hi Guys,

Congratulations to those who got their RPRFs or PPR emails. Last update from me is as follows,

I got email to provide additional supporting evidences that I will reside outside Quebec. I sent documents before about 10 days now and am waiting to hear back from them.

PS: I have done medical, RPRF both upfront.

So as I have submitted the last requested documents I assume the next communication will be either CoPR or Rejection.

hoping for the best but I certainly am prepared for the worst case... (gamble worth approx 3350$ in total!!!)

Cheers and good luck to all...

Hello All,

After a long wait (14 months).. CIC asked me to provide Plans to Live outside Quebec.

My situation.

I stayed in Quebec / Montreal. Jan 2012- May 2012 + Nov 2013-Dec 2013.

I was working for Montreal Company woking from Home Country since Dec 2013 - Sept 2014. With Proper T4 and proper paystubs.

I have family relatives and friends in Toronto. Who can give me Support letter. I have Job employment offer from Toronto as well.

What else do you guys think I should provide?

Is this a big trouble for getting rejected??

I think ur best bet is job employment letter from Toronto company. That will be a very strong reason not to stay in Quebec.. Plus additionally u can say that u dont know French... And then add on by saying that I have relatives in Toronto.. Hence from a social standpoint... I have all the more reason to stay in Toronto only

Hi EPP,

Much updates from me as I didn't had a chance to keep the forum updated for last few months. CIC started processing my file by 1st week of March. They asked me to provide evidence to live outside QC and second set of Indian PCC. (I submitted first set along with my application)
These things took about 2 months and I received PPR on 1st week of May. Requested to change VO to New Delhi and received updated PPR email on last week of May. Got my COPR and stamped passports on 10th of June.

Cheers, JSB.

Anyone with this experience?

Thanks for your suggestions. Buddy..

I have offer letter ready. I don't know french except few greetings. Got one letter from relative for support. I think I was more worried on this part but looks good to me now.

My ECAS just changed today to "decision made". I'm guessing that's a good thing??

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 28, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on June 3, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

It almost certainly is. If you want to avoid the stress of waiting for confirmation you can just call them and ask about the decision made - people on this forum have done this successfully before.
