Hi All
Please update the spreadsheet. Visa Stamped on 20th may 2015 and received COPR on 28th May. Landed at Carway/Peigan Border on 29th May.

Also want to share my experience at Carway/peigan Border. It was fortunately very smooth procedure. left Calgary at 5 am in the morning and reached there by 8 am. Drove through the US immigration side where the Officer was very nice. I told him we came for Canadian Permanent residence purpose. He took our(me and my wife) Passport and asked us to park the car and come inside the office. In 5 Minutes he gave us the Administrative refusal letter and TOLD US IF FOR US IMMIGRATION IN FUTURE SOMEBODY ASK IF YOU BEEN REFUSED US VISA BEFORE, SAY NO TO THAT.
Then drove back to Canadian Side (Both Offices Are less then 100m Apart). Officer took our passport again and asked us to park the car and come inside the office. then they asked us about Passport, COPR, All kinds of Permits you have till date and saw the refusal letter from us and gave us back. Aked us to wait. It took 20 min as we were the only one and Asked us to sign the COPR and they kept one copy and gave us one back. They also took our permits. And the Officer congratulated us. Very pleasant experience at Carway/Peigan Border.

Also Thanks to all the people who helped me through out this. You people and this Forum is Beauty. Good luck to all who are waiting. :)

Congrats! Sheet updated!

Hi All,

Me and my wife have received medical request last week and going for medical today. It was really a long wait. My application was reviewed once in Oct 2014 and sent for 2nd review. I have provided additional documentation to CIC since the first officer concerns were about my salary and T4. Hoping everything goes well.

Good luck to those who are still waiting.. :)

At last! I have updated the sheet for you. Keep us posted.

Hello guys,

I did my landing on 15th May while coming back from States (training). The process was smooth at the Toronto Pearson Airport. Hardly took me 6 minutes and got the new SIN from their itself. Could someone please let me know how much time it is taking for the PR card to arrive at your place?

Thanks!

41 calendar days for my case.

Anybody know how to update Canada revenue Agency for new SIN number after landing?

You can update it on next year's tax return - that's what my accountant told me.

Or call CRA - that's what my wife did for her UCCB.

Visit any service Canada with your proof of landing / landing paper they will give you the new number right away. Upon getting the permanent SIN number you should update your employer. Do not worry about updating the bank and credit cards company as they will automatically get updated by CRA

@ above : completely wrong CRA will not share any info with bureaus or banks, credit bureau companies are not government companies . you should update your employer and CRA separately and banks who will update with credit bureau automatically.

Absolute Bullshit ............... CRA will not share personal info such as SIN with private organizations.

::) :-[Quick question. can we extend our work permit at port of entry any how? instead of applying online or by paper.
my one friend did and he got it,but he was PNP applicant and i am thinking of mine one, but i am CEC applicant.any suggestions or info???

Not the BOWP but with new LMIA from employer you can get new WP provided you do not exceed the quota.

NOTE: a ordinary WP is classified differently to a BOWP.
