Does one need to send passport for Canada born child as well when PPR request comes in?
Please advise.

Do you really think that your Canada born child needs Canadian Visa in Canadian Passport...? ;D No you don't need to send it.

Got Email yesterday around 9:30PM with stating the Golden Word.

"Ready For VISA"

yahoooooooooo... So finally close to complete the journey...

Surprising checked status on ECAS.. No Update on it still shows Application Received....
and inside that only 2 lines ..
1. We received your application on 30,april......
2. Medical Results have been received....


No We started processing or anything like that.



My strong advice is don't trust ECAS... Second When I called CIC call center(10 days back), customer rep told me that my case is under background check and he don't think it will complete the BG check before 30 April.
After BG it has to go to Security and other finalization....

Very surprised be email... Have lost hope to get PPR anywhere in April or May, but God still exists and got PPR

You can buy those Plastic one as well. if you have that you don't need to worry about folding it. I am gonna do the same.
Also those Plastic envelop helps to protect your documents to get wet.

I dont think so we need to send work permit or any thing.

The only thing I'm going to add in envelop is Passports and Email Confirmation from CIC(Ready For VISA).

If you read email clearly the ask document is your Application Number or Client ID number. Once they scan your passport they will have all your information.

Congrats.. Same here. ECAS status still shown received with only two lines but amazingly ready for visa email last night in my inbox..probably our ECAS get update over this weekend..

Hi VS1987 - you mean one like having plastic bubbles. i think those are not that costly and not sure if we can have express post on the same.
Any way to track that plastic one once CPC-O will send back pasport. Please share detail.
