I have been completed 1 year and last update from CIC was with my medicals on Nov 2014. Still my ECAS status shown " Application received", no idea when it changed to in-process. I have waited enough, God please send me PPR soon..

Hi Friends,

Yesterday I landed at Rainbow bridge with my family. There were no queue both side and visa officers are nice and polite. We landed very smoothly with completed all processing in 30 min. Then after, we went to Niagara falls but, weather was very cold and freeze.

In my corp, entry date is wrong and I insisted to change but officer told me that they can't do anything here. But he told me that date is not wrong but that was your last entry date in Canada as per database. I said that's true. So he don't me that no need to worry about entry date. Congratulation and Enjoy your trip and food at Niagara.

I asked again that what about citizenship and it will create any issue. Then he told me that there were no issue because you can show your all proof and in-out date. Immigration have your all dates and data.

My wife told that forget about entry date and don't do more discussion with officer. Let's go and enjoy at Niagara.

Finally we landed at Niagara.

i have applied my GCMS on 25 march, still not got it as ots more than 30 days.
but according to last time GCMS notes last review date is 7 may 2015. what does that mean??
and how i can report to ATIP for GCMS notes that i haven't received yet...
should i go for upfront now for RPRF . :-\

i haven't received anything other than a telephonic interview by visa officer.....i filed and it was received on 28march2014 and the confirmation came on 18april2014 but after that nothing came.....

anyone in the same situation like me....

god plz help me...my work permit is also soon going to be expire....

Just got the Ready for Visa email

Below is the mail which I received.. In that they mentioned my current address but asking to send passports to Ottawa.
Do I need to request for change of visa office or I can directly to send to Delhi India.. Please suggest.. I have only 30 days to submit.

· Do you intend to get married or divorced prior to becoming a permanent resident?

Please note that permanent resident visas cannot be issued to holders of Diplomatic, Official or Military passports. You must obtain an ordinary passport.

If you or any of your family members are residing outside North America and you are unable to send your/their passport(s) to Canada and/or to provide a return mailing address in North America, contact us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca so that we can make arrangements to print visas at another office.

ksn4u, you can email to CIC requesting for Visa Printing to be done at New Delhi. They will reply back with the confirmation and you will get 30 days from that to send your passports to Delhi. The change would generally take 20-25 days, if your lucky they will reply within a week also.

Congrats.. i think the main thing here is this following line:

you contact the CIC on the email and ask them to allow you to send the passports in Delhi consulate.
From the previous posts.. i have heard that they can send in thier reply as soon as 2 days and as late as 25 days in replying.

if i were you, I would send them and email and wait for thier reply for 10 days.. if i dont get any reply, then i would contact the VFS office, which are there is all mojor cities. and i am sure it will be there in hyderabad also. Contact VFS and submit your passports in Delhi anyway, if you dont recieve any reply within 10 days.

ksn4u, you can email to CIC requesting for Visa Printing to be done at New Delhi. They will reply back with the confirmation and you will get 30 days from that to send your passports to Delhi. The change would generally take 20-25 days, if your lucky they will reply within a week also.

What if they didnt reply on time i.e., with in 30 days.. because i heard for many it took around 30 days to get the response.. So i will be in worry if i didnt get the response on time.. anyways I have replied back to the Ready for Visa email to change the visa office for stamping to CHC New Delhi. Lets see when they will respond back.. fingers crossed
