It is still 1212months on cic website

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-ec.asp

Where did you get the 15 months information?

Hi mayanyunxiao

there was post by one of the applicant (sunny786) who received the email from CIC. I think soon they will update the website as well. They are too lazy to update the websites I assume thats what I can judge from the ECAS.

I wish I could be wrong.

Hello guys
I am waiting for my further response to the file.
I applied on April 11 2014. Medicals done for both me and my wife in last week of February.
ECAS STATUS IS FOR MEDCIALS RECEIVED.
I emailed CIC last week for update on file they said as follow:::
""Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email.

The processing of your file is following its due course.

Please note that the processing times for permanent residence applications within the Canadian Experience class category are of an average of 15 months.

An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application.

My work permit and visa expires on same date 19th June 2015.
I am kinda worried
Should I apply for extension of work permit or something like that to stay here .
Any ideas or best reply to this please.

when i emailed to CIC last week thats what they said to me in email as you can check my msgs please. even i got worried when they its average of 15 months these days , but on website it said 12 months.

I know that it is very painful when we are not getting response in stipulated time from CIC.

Personal suggestion,

Priority points and factor to get passport request.
- Medical request means that your eligibility of CEC almost approved except security, background verification check or other CIC stuffs etc ..are pending. [if you don’t get Medical request then would suggest to do upfront Medical ].
- If Medical done means that you are in good position. Now check your current status through GCMS note. If you don’t apply GCMS note then first apply and check your status.
- If your GCMS note is perfectly ok and recommended passed then you don’t need to panic.
- If you got GCMS note and your note is saying about second review then check what could be reason and why it is blocking your application. Try to submit all necessary documents such as T4, Salary statements, updated reference letter if missing, marriage certificate if you recently marry etc..
- if you think that your application is in good shape but still taking time (more than processing times as per CIC) then, better to get in touch with MP in your local area.
- Follow-up to CIC through e-mail and call center. But try to understand your current status of applications check whether VO’s has having any concerns then, try to rectify those issues yourself asap. (don't follow-up too much through email but better to call and try to understand your application situation).

Don’t lose your hope and awake.

I know that once people get RPRF request then won’t take too much time for passport request.

Congratulation!!
My application is around the same time as yours, but I'm still waiting. Is your status on Ecas been changed and have they ever asked for additional documents?

Nope my ecas never updated after application rcvd status and nope i paid rprf upfront and no extra documentations asked.

Congratulation !!! see, today we discussed about your case.

By the way, my tracker is also activated and can see Item processed at Ottawa.

I know.

I will send my passport tomorrow morning could you confirm how long would cic take to return the psports?

Doing RPRF in advance is good or bad ??
is it ok if i deposit my rprf fees now and just wait for the passport request then?
and how CIC will know that i have deposit RPRF upfront?

Pay the fee and send the receipt to CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca,
CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca and then order GCMS(optional) if you want to know status on your file/payment

@veeru5, hi, what's your timeline?

Finally, the ECAS status is changed to "in process" this morning ;D. "We started processing your application on April 17th, 2015". I am wondering when the PPR will come :P
