What ID? or are you saying if I changed the one in eCAS first? I changed the one in eCAS first then sent an email to CIC.

I meant a drivers license. Do I need to send them a copy of a drivers license with new address or an utility bill with my name and new address?

Ohh..I didn't send them anything. Just an email saying that this my new address.

I even sent them the email to change my address before moving to the new address.

Hello Everybody!!

How long does it take to receive your passport request after ECAS status has changed to "in process"?

What "in process" really means? That we have passed all 4 criterias (Elegibility, Security, Medical, and Crimanality)?

Thanks! :D

When I got my MR, the online status changed to "in process". My status changed to "in process" on Dec 18, 2014, and I am still waiting for my PPR. I guess, the period is 3-4 months between MR and PPR.

It depends on family members also. Actually process is very slow down compare to last year.
So many people are waiting for passport request after medical.

I got my MR 1 month later than you, although my application was received on Jan 31, 2014. I guess when you get your PPR, I will get mine soon.

That's from 2 weeks to 6 months. For short, there is no sure answer to this.

I think Eligibility and Medical is already passed but the rest are still In Progress.

I hope yours will arrive sooner. :D

Hey guys,

I'm getting worried now, I'm a April applicant and I still haven't got my MR request yet.
Looking through the forum it seems everyone has got there's and are just waiting for the ppr now.

Is it normal or am I right getting worried now?

Have you ordered GCMS? This will help you to have an idea they are working on your file, if there is a pending review, etc...

Hi,

Yes I did beginning of February still haven't got a response.

I'm afraid I could be the only one still waiting on my MR.
Oh well

You won't be the only one.

Now they always give you a chance to convince them by providing additional document. Just be prepare for that.

May be some new freshers VO are working on our applications. That the reason, it is taking longer time.

Most of the new GCMS notes, Review required by officer, no medical on time, late RPRF request, no update on passport request, documents update/request etc...

Last year people got medical and RPRF request on same day or in a week. Now a days, there is nothing in alignment.

Hi,

I am an April 2014 applicant as well. I ordered for my GCMS notes and it looks like there is a confusion with my letter of employment. I wrote a letter of explanation to clear out the confusion but they haven't done anything about it yet. I haven't received my MR yet either. Im really worried too.

Do you think it will take more than 12 months to get our application approved? What if it crosses 12 months? Can we request for a reason for why we haven't received anything?
