Congrats ... You are almost there..Karen111 said:I am an April applicant. I have submitted an upfront medical, RPRF and Biodata.
I checked my ECAS status this morning and there was a new update saying that
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
It makes me little nervous that I haven't received any email regarding passport request yet, but it could be because I am from South Korea which is Visa Exempt country.
Do you guys have any idea if the decision will be a good news or bad news? (I mean... for example, they wouldn't update on the ECAS about decision made if they are going to reject me.. something like that..)
Also, when they contact me about the final decision, is it going to be email or mail? Do you know how long it will take approximately?

Folks, tell me something, maxmoore said:Did you get your eMedical summary from your doctor? Does it show something strange that could delay your review? If you didn't get your medicals back, I would encourage you to contact your doctor and ask him to print out a copy and check by yourself.
It happen usually when VO pass the medical and change Medical status to Passed.Amisnic said:Folks, tell me something,
When one's medicals have been uploaded and eCAS states "Medicals have been received",
does that mean medicals are all ok or simply indicates that results have been uploaded for review by VO?
Hi Maxmoore, maxmoore said:Medicals are considered passed by your VO when you see the line in your ECAS.

Order GCMS notes, but they won't say much - probably. The only way to understand if your file is under review is to get a copy of your eMedicals and check whether something was marked as abnormal or not, which leads to further review / tests. My test was marked as abnormal, but I submitted complementary documentation for my case and finally was approved by the Health branch.Anna2013 said:My medical was done 88 days ago (Feb 18 will be three months). No change or update on Ecas. If that's the case, why my review has taken so long?!
That probably explains why you're not seeing "Medicals have..." in your ECAS. Until the RMO sends back a review for your spouse, you won't see the update. Hope you have this resolved soon!nov_2014 said:my spouse is having Type 2 Diabetes and we aware of it. I might thinking her medical is under review by RMO but her last GCMS notes status SENT scared me..
