Hi,
it's more or less a help from CIC. You can go to the border for landing even if you get such letter. Just call CIC and inform them about your intentions. Many applicants already did it (and CIC agreed).

Thanks...Can some body do a border landing without US visa at rainbow bridge...??

Hi ,

Can you please elaborate more what CIC mentioned about eMedical update Issue ?

Thanks :)

In the e-mail that I got today, they just mentioned that due to a technical glitch my medicals weren't uploaded to CIC, but they did went to the Health branch in charge of reviewing it. Also, they mentioned that they are working on fixing this issue. Maybe, this is not just me, and some others experienced the same "technical issue", thus ECAS hasn't shown Medicals Have Been Received. Sorry, I'm extrapolating my personal experience in a general way, but it could be a possibility.

Hi All;

I am a silent reader of this forum. I also applied in April. I applied for GCMS and got the results now. They say review required in the eligibility sections as the duty is not mentions in the employment letter. Similarly the also need police clearance certificate from my home country as well as from the Europe where I stay for five years. As I work in Canada for more than two years. In the first place I work for one year while in the second place where I am still working is nearly two years. I got a proper letter from the present working place while for the previous I am still waiting. My questions is can I send this letter first and wait for the other ones, when I get I then can send that too. Or do I need to send all together including police clearence certificats as well.

My second question is can I send send it via email Or I need to send via surface mail. In both cases what is the address. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions...

Hi All,

My PR application was submitted on 22 April'14, received AOR on 26 May'14. I sent my PCC/RCMP without getting a request from CIC.

Now, till date I haven't received my Medical request :(

At least they already have your medical results. But the question is, will they review it if they can't put it in the the system?

Yes. The process is called "Flag pole". Just go to the US immigration and say you will do a flag pole for landing. They will give you an administrative rejection (no worries this will not be recorded) and ask you to go back to Canada and do your landing.

Good question... I don't know. CIC said that they will contact me if they requires further actions from me. If someone can fix this issue, it means that the files were received somehow, but not copied over the CIC system. I'm just guessing...

Hi Maxmoore,

I think your are right. The most important and good thing is CIC has your Medicals and they are accepting it. They are also trying to trouble shoot your issue.

I would say check your ECAS everyday. I believe once they resolve it they will update ASAP....
