Hey I just call to my bank and ask for status of my draft. they said it still outstanding means CIC didn't chased my draft :(

Hi All,

I am too in waiting state, i mailed the application on 26th April and it was reached on 29th April.

My cc isn't charged and i am bit worried....

Sorry to hear about your case. I know that its bit tough to wait.
Although you drop a mail or call them but you won't get any answer/better response from CIC. Hence, you need to wait and watch.

Hey,

I know this is really annoying! But what else we can do so I guess just wait and see where it goes .. Anyway good luck !! I hope everything will be fine and you don't need to worry I guess . Sometime they can have some confusin with our information so they just wanna make sure before take any decision .. Anyway would u tell me more about ur case I meant what was ur NOC code ?

Thanks

Thanks Tobby.. Nice information. You have to start your immigration business :D

You can undergo upfront medicals whenever you want. There's been a lot of talk about pros and cons, some
people say it decreases the processing time when it comes to the MR stage, some say it doesn't have an effect on the
processing time.
I did upfront medicals and some applicants who waited for the official MR got their application approved before mine.
That's just my two cents...
One thing to consider, the CPR and your pr visa will be valid for 12 months from the day you completed
the medical exam, so don't get it done too early as you will have to complete the landing before your pr visa and CPR
expires.

Read here about the process:

Hope this helps.

HEY OlekM,

What did u apply your application and when u get back? Did they cash your draft or CC when u sent your file or they just sent back your application without charging you? When did u re-sent your application?

Thanks

What is the reason to return back your application?

Ecase Updated ---> Application Received..

Please update

So this week is almost gone and my Bank draft still out standing. :(

Should i call to CIC next week or no?

As I can see May 2014 spread sheet, only 2 people get their AOR and average time is 35 days so i guess they again slow down the process for Last week of April and May applicants coz of the rules fluctuation.

Any view on that?

Thanks

Yes you are correct that two people got their AOR in May application.
It's up to you if you can follow-up with CIC in case 6 weeks have completed.

CIC call center agents will not be able to help you so there's no point in calling CIC. You will have to email the CIO office and they will be able to assist you. Note that CIO will not respond to your email if they received your application less than 6 weeks ago.

Guys,

After AOR, what is the next process?

I think all are busy in FIFA..

If nothing is abnormal then Time pass until get MR email and some times CRA asks RCMP in-between otherwise, will directly receive MR email after 4 months.
As mentioned by Toby couple of days ago to my query, you can also do upfront MR, RCMP, etc.,

Medical Requests around November (end of October), I guess.

Yes! Let's go Argentina :) (although, we didn't play well today - at all).

Score!!!
I got AOR on June 13 and ECAS is today available with Status: Application Received.
Wow, what a relief!!! :P
Now to try to quietly forget about this whole application process that will likely determine the course of my life, until much later in the year. How does one just put something so important out of your mind for so long???
Thanks for everybody's support and good luck until the next round!!!
