Processing fees are not refunded after processing has commenced.

I am not sure why your application was not returned due to missing NOC codes, or at the very least, why you weren't given an opportunity to prove your case.

They do not refund if the application is considered to be ineligible after they charge the cost recovery fee.

The cost recovery fee is charged after the completeness check and the status gets changed to application received. There is no refund after the status get changed.

I applied under FSW last year and the same thing happened to me. I was clearly told that there is no refund since the application was in process and guess what? The reason for my rejection was missing NOC codes on the form. So they were not even supposed to charge me the cost recovery fee.

Who would debate with them. They're not answerable to anyone.. >:(

Hi guys, I received AOR today, here is my timeline:

That doesnt mean that applications were submitted after May1st. That means that they issue aor's in May, and as we can see in April spreadsheet people were receiveing aor's in first 2 weeks of May. But since May 12 seems like nobody received aor, thats for 9 days now

It started finally, and its 29 days - not that bad. Congrats, Firefly!

Was just about to say the same :)

Here is hoping that the pace picks up *fingers crossed*!

P.S. - Good news - there is no long weekend in June :P ;)

Good news for us as pr aplicants, and bad for us as canadian workers :) lol

Let`s just focus on the fact that no long weekend could possibly mean improved processing times ;D

Sorry, totally forgot...

Here is my info:

NOC: 2172
Country of Residence: Canada
Country of Origin: China
Visa Office: Sydney, NS
Date Filed: Is this the date that I mailed my app? If yes, then April 15, 2014
Date Received: April 22, 2014
Payment Method: Credit Card
Charged on: May 9, 2014

Thank you for updating my information.

One question here, I understand on average it takes about 6-7 months, but do you guys think it might be faster since they have the new system from 2015? They may have to clean up all the apps before that? At least I hope so :P

That's why I scheduled my vacation in June :D. I'll be gone for 3 weeks to spend some time with my family back home.

Good luck to all that not received their AOR yet!

Guys,

Do you have an idea about fees receipt? Whatever we have paid amount as immigration fees.

Whether CIC will issue any kind of receipt or not, then how to get it?

Thanks

Why? Are you going to expense that fee? :P

Putting the joke aside I would like to know that too...

Actually, when I paid my work permit fees through online that time I received Official Receipt from CIC.

This time for PR, I have used Bank Draft so, don't know how to get receipt as a proof that I have paid amount to CIC.
