There is no specific reason but yes i would like to know how far the VO went into my file processing and it is the best way to see whats going on rather than email to CIC and ask the status of your process.

I guess you can order too and there is no harm on your application.

1 I usually takes 30 - 40 days to receive your gcms notes after your apply. U can get either by email or CD at your home address.

2. There is no harm on your application at all because during processing of your application, your file reviewed by office and put BF( bring forward date ) which means next date to review file and it could be 2 months after the last review. So when u order your GCMS notes your file reviewed before the BF date which is positive point.

Hi Guys...Can anyone share the details to do medical checkup in Toronto, I live quite far from it so need to plan a little ahead. Appreciate any info you share. Would be interested knowing:
clinic locations, docs, booking appointments, how long it to get the appointment (busy?), how much time for the actual checkup etc.

Yesterday, I have sent an e-Mail to CIC to update my son renewal passport. But, there is no return response mail.

Is it normal or something wrong?

now-a-days no automatic reply... may be after few days you can follow up..

Yes Initial preliminary document verification was done by Sydney team and now with Ottawa for further processing..Status says your application has been received by Ottawa office however your file is not yet opened for further examination otherwise you would see status as in process..
With concern to Medical, lucky April applicant might get first MR by end of October if Visa officer works with steady pace..

The one on CIC website, doesn't say "... made outside Canada".

just keep it simple. do not send unnecessary files that will confuse more instead of clarifying things.
