How common is the RCMP request?
I've read many conflicting statements about this. Some say you only get it if someone that has the EXACT same name as you has a criminal record in Canada, while others say that you get it if your name is at least 50% similar to someone who has a criminal record in Canada. There's a huge difference between having the same name and having only 50% the same name!

Does anyone have some reliable information about this?

I just received my AOR ! YAAAAAY

FYI : I received two emails, one in english around 8:00 PM and one in french around 8:40 PM.
In my email, it didn't say at what day my credit card was charged (or maybe I just didn't see it !)

I will apply for BOWP in the next couple of days.
A big thanks for everyone here for your help ! I probably couldn't do it without you guys.
