Hi guys, I received an email titled "Ready For Visa" this evening, but CIC never asked for a PCC from me. I did not include the Canadian PCC in the original application as well. Does anyone know if it is normal?

I have a similar question here. I've got the MR but since my wife is pregnant, she cannot take the x-ray test. However, she used to take a test last December for a work permit application and never leave Canada afterwards. Can I go to the same physician and ask him to submit that result...

Thank you for the suggestion. It seems that nobody can confirm the X-ray test is harmless. I hope my baby would be safe and sound so will defer the test.

I'm not sure why, but the CIC asked me to finish it in 30 days.

I got the MR email with the form IMM 1017 one hour ago. However, my wife has been pregnant for 6 months, so it may not be a good time to take a X-ray test.

Just wondering how many April applicants have not received the MR yet? I'm definitely one in the group.

No, you don't have the one year work experience. 1560 hours is only one condition, the other is to work for at least one year. BTW, the CEC will terminate at the end of this year.

Thank you for the reply. No, I did not include it within the original application materials since I got the offer a few months after sending out the application. I move to Ontario because the school starts in January, 2015. I hope it makes sense.

Hi, I submitted the CEC application in April and got AOR in early June. I will start to work on a master degree next January, which means my status will be changed from worker to student. May I ask if it will affect the decision on my CEC application? Thank you

Hi, congrats on your MR! I applied from Montreal in April and got AOR in June. I have got an offer from an Ontario university and will move there in December. Is that OK to show the offer letter to CIC to prove my intention if the questioning letter comes? Thanks
