I have got the AOR last week, and planning to apply BOWP. Also I didn't send my PCC in application package. So can you please let me know if I need to have my Passport with me while applying BOWP (asking bcaz for PCC I need to submit my original Passport).

Another question: can I get a visa with the BOWP? my employer did it for my WP I remember, can the same thing be done for BOWP.

As far as i know, you don't need passport for BOWP, you can apply BOWP while your passport is away for PCC. Secondly, i don't think you can get Visa with BOWP. Seniors Please correct me if i am wrong.

Ok, my question was because "Visa CC" are usually tough when you are a temporary worker. That's why I asked about. Maybe, you're trying to get some help from your employer to get a Visa CC that could be rejected if you're applying by your own.

Regarding Visitor/Business Visa, all you need is a letter from your employer stating you're working there (letter of employment?). I did it in that way, but it was before coming to Canada, thus I don't know how it works when you're living here. Also, I had to submit my passport for a week or so to be stamped.

1) First, You need to apply for BOWP.
2) Second, once you will get BOWP then take the copy of WP, additional documents, AOR then you need to apply for VISA(they will attach VISA sticker in your passport) and you need to send original passport also.

Question for everybody:

Just checked the status of delivery for the documents that I sent with Purolator to Sydney, NS yesterday and it says "Shipment delivered to COLIN MACDONALD at: SHIP DOCK"

That sounds a bit strange to me. Does anybody else have the same delivery status?

I was just about to point that out. May 19 is a holiday and that's probably the reason for a slow down in AOR processing. *sigh*

Did You send it via courier or regular mail?

I just saw you sent it out by Purolator. Maybe, the tracking system differs. Don't worry, everything should be fine.

I also sent with prioroty couries of canada post.
The signature i see is
MK.
