They are talking about passport. I would suggest to call CIC and ask them to verify your current details. At a same time, apply for GCMS note.

Did you done with medical?
Hey Sjulien,

Yes, I have provided medicals, given RPRF upfront. Have my GCMS. Nothing updated in GCMS after December 2014 that says PCCs received.

Thanks!

So the CoPR has been sent to their officefor more than two weeks and apparently I am not getting anything so far. Probably the journey will continue for another couple months - who knows.
So just after I posted this, last night I found the new CoPR is in the mail box. I think it is fortunate for me that it didn't take any much longer for them to just prepare the papers for me.

Will probably land this weekend and update after that.

Hi Snofairy,

Congratulations!!

Quick question: have you received the "Ready for Visa"email? How long before they have changed your Ecas status to "Decision Made"?

Tks

Thank you very much! You rock man! I will follow your instruction and amend my CoPR just in case.

Yes, dual citizenship is allowed in my country, but I already have 2. So, if I would like to become Canadian, I must drop 1 of them (I think you can't have 3). Anyways, 4 years is a long run and I'm happy with my PR. No need to worry about this now.

+1 for you!
Haven't heard of triple citizenship but you may be the first! :D

So means that people have three different countries passport. I don't think so people can legally hold more than 1 country passport.

Dual or Triple citizenship means that you can hold one country passport and other countries have granted permission to travel without visa and hold your rights to stay some times.

May be I am wrong. but, my Daughter born in Canada and she got Canadian passport so we had applied for overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) commonly known as ‘dual citizenship’ but passport should be Canadian and she got Indian OCI card to travel to India without visa. she has some rights to stay in India too such as study, live, participate in financial etc...

One of my friends also mentioned that these days we needn't surrender the Indian passport once we get Canadian Citizenship. Not sure about the authenticity of this statement..

I don't know for other countries but we Filipinos can have 2 passports at the same time.

Mr. Bond holds more than 10 passports - James Bond ??? :p

Indeed! :D

I think Canada doesn't allow more than 2. Maybe, they don't check this, so if you became Canadian and was your second citizenship, but then you acquired a third one (because that third country allowed 3), you should be fine and Canada won't check again (or maybe yes when you renew your passport?). The problem arises when the Canadian citizenship is the third one in line.

Anyways, sorry for the big off topic here.

I'm not from India, but someone at work mentioned it to me as well. He surrounded his citizenship, but obtained a VISA -for life- to go to India (or something like that).

By the way, I just wanted to share this because it made me laugh. Now I have a 5th line in my ECAS showing the following:

You entered Canada at the Unknown office on April 5, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident.

I feel like I crossed the border through the jungle or something like this.
