Hi ksn4u,

You are not alone. I have same issue whatever you have. Actually, I got request to submit my new passport copy/new on 4th march and on that day only my status had changed as "in-progress". After that, I have submitted my new passport copy.

But still now there is no update on application.

Poor CIC process.

I got a request for additional documents(PCC from India and Schedule A) on march 14th and on the same day status has been changed to we started processing your application in March 12th.

Then immediately I have on the next day. this means they have started looking my application on march 12th and as they requested additional docs so when they will start the process again. Its already around one month. I am not sure whats going on on my application.

That means CIC will take one month to process if any document request.
Let's see.

If you have submitted the requested documents then you should get it around 11th Or 12th of April.... I had the same situation, CIC asked for my marriage certificate and the same day my ECAS status got changed to In Process. I submitted the certificate after a week and got PPR exactly after one month of the date they started working on my file.

Hi Everone,
We have landed today at Rainbow Bridge. We decided to walk accross the bridge and everything went very smooth and we are extremely grateful now that we have become Canadian PRs.
The friendly lady said the PR card will arrive in about 8 weeks time.
I wish to thank one and all for the support this thread and forum gave me during this long and difficult time.
May those still waiting receive the good news soon. May we meet again in ~3 years time when we apply for Citizenship.

My Time Line as below.

Application Sent 1 April 2014
Application Received 4th April 2014
AOR Received 29th April
PCC and Background Info Asked Nov 3rd 2014
Address Updated in ECAS 1 March 2015

But still ECAS status shows as "Application Received". No Medical So far. I did pay RPRF last month.

Do I have anything to worry about. I know you all might say GCMS notes will help. But isn't that look like they are having second review on my file as they did update my Information in ECAS??

Guide me here. I am planning to call CIC next week about this as timeline came down from 13 months to 12 months..

Yesterday, friends of mine who apply few days after us got their PR.

As some guys on previous page, we are still waiting for MR, it still says application received. I already wrote long time ago that we ordered GCMS notes and I had to explain why I worked till Aug 25th, but my implied status was until July 23. We explain everything, company that was doing my WP and LMO, was taking their sweet *censored word*in time(they receive letter from government on Aug 1st) and they told my employer on Aug 7th that I must stop working and the same day employer told me and I stopped working. But the thing is, that happend few years ago and of course I didn't remember all the dates so I just followed employers letter he gave me. It was saying that my last day was 25th.
And employer and consultant were digging and digging and digging and they found that I actually stopped working same day when the immigration company told my employer I must stop working, that was on Aug 7th. On Aug 25th they paid me my savings I had in the company and my last paycheck.

So, I've sent signed and stamped explanation letter from person who was doing all my paperwork for LMO and WP, and she explain that she never had contact through me, always through employer, they had verbal discussions but without my presence(only emplyer), rejection letter was issued on July 23rd, that immigration company receievd it on Aug 1st...and then they were doing some consultations and they inform my employer on Aug 7th, when I quit.
And there is also letter from the owner who apologize for a mistake cause I was following employment record that's why I put Aug 25th.

So, if they are humans, they should accept it, cause both immigration and company they took responsibility for those mistakes(work from July 23 to Aug 7th)..
I send it more than a month ago, they said they gonna answer in 20 days, its been almost 2 months. They also said in GCMS notes, criminal record from USA and Mexico required, but they still didn't ask us to get it(Mexican one). We send to FBI for American, but its been almost 2 months they didn't even took money from CC.

So, that is our story...chances are 50-50 that this is gonna finish successfully. We don't know single thing what is going on, except one immgration consultant told us just to wait cause they are reaaaally slow now. She got approved one PR from November 2013, few days ago. And she waited for an answer almost 3 months for something like us. She said, it takes time.

Just landed! It feels so good and a big relief after 1 year waiting for this moment. The procedure was smoother than I thought. I took both GO train and bus to Niagara. Probably there are other ways, but I live beside a GO station, so I didn't want to go to Union. So, I crossed the bridge walking (meanwhile it was snowing like crazy) and then returned back to the Canadian border with the rejection paper. After that, an officer sent me to another place in order to complete the procedure. I waited probably 1 and 1/2 hours and finally the officer called me by name, asked me a few questions and finally returned back my passport saying "congratulations!". An amazing journey comes to an end.

Thanks to everyone for supporting me during the last year when things didn't look good such us my medicals, etc. You were a big part of my life, so I deeply appreciate your help, your words to cheer me up, and your company! All the best to everyone still waiting! Sooner or later your time will come. Best of luck!
