I can now login to ECAS using myclient id but haven't received AOR yet.
Does application received and CC charged mean that my documents were okay?

Well, I was going out and I wanted to check my mail box. Got a message from the building saying I should ask for an envelop dated on May 1st from Canada Post. I completely freaked out. I thought CIC returned my application. Finally, when the security guard appeared in my building, I asked for the envelope and it was a f*cking book from Amazon. This is how you live after applying for PR.

Yes you are fine, don't worry , check your spam folder or check with your lawyer ( if you have applied thru a lawyer)

Instead of checking your spam folder, simply add @cic.gc.ca to your safe senders list
Might be easier...

Hi everyone,

I received my AOR several days ago, now I have another question. Hope you can help.

According to CIC's checklist, I had my wife's police certificate included in my application. One is from England where she used to stay for more than 6 months. The problem is, the expiry date of that certificate is on July 30 of 2014, which is only three months ahead. Anyone knows will they need a new one when the date that they really get to my application is after the expiry date? Or once they issued my the AOR, that means I am all good? Thanks for advicing.

You'll find the option in the settings and it's called filters.
Create the following filter:

Matches: from:(@cic.gc.ca)
Do this: Never send it to Spam

That's how I did it.

I don;t see any new AORs in the sheet. However I do see few folks got their CC charged.
