Guys, it suddenly occurs to the question whether we need to apply for the Canadian PCC, or CIC will check the record by themselves? If the former, where should I turn to the PCC? Thanks for response!

They will do a name check. If required they will ask you to get RCMP clearance and send it.

Hi All...

I am new joiner in the group. I had mailed my CEC application on 04 Apr. My Credit card was charged on 30 Apr.
Hope all goes fine...

Best wishes for all applicants who have mailed their applications.

Cheers
Raampa.

I fixed all the formulas and some more rows were added. I did notice one more entry for 07 Apr 2014 AOR has been received on 30th. Looks like there is a little delay in processing.

As a suggestion, maybe those whose applications are going to be delivered in May, should start a new thread and a new spreadsheet ;)

Hi All...I am a new member here and found this place to be very useful. I have updated the April sheet with my information. Filed on 2nd Apr, Recd on 7th Apr, CC charged on 30th Apr, and AOR recd by email on 30th April.

All the best for all other applicants.

Raj

Hi vto,

It happened to me in March as well because they did not accept my birth certificate which was from BLS. I did submit my application again which is delivered on 14th April. This time I have sent 10th Mark sheet, H.Sc. school leaving certificate and affidavit of birth.
What was happen in your case?

Thanks,
Hi from some post in this forum advised not to use BLS birth certificate as it is not accepted by CIC.
I have sent an affidavit made in Canada explaining non-availability of correct birth certificate of my spouse ( New born Name was missing on original certificate).
Package was returned stating - there has to be one document proof which has New born Name, DOB and Parent name.....There was passport, PAN card, Driving license, mariage cert, original BC, 10th school leaving (no parent name on it :-(),Visitor record canada etc in supplementary proof. Only Indian Passport has all three with mention of Name of father, name of mother. Still it is returned...it all depends on VO.
In returned package, CIC highlights what is missing and provide details about what is required....

Thus I applied new duplicate certificate in India, received a scanned copy, attached it to application...Thankfully I got Birth Certificate for my spouse within a week

You are very lucky.
In my case, my spouse got her birth certificate after 6 months.

Guys,

I have quick question after review my application. There is one mistake. I need your help on this matter.

My spouse birth certificate. Her father surname is XXX.

However, when I have filled the following two forms.

1) Schedule A Background/declaration form
I mentioned her father surname is YYY

2) Additional Family Information form
I mentioned her father surname is YYY

Is there any issue? I am waiting for AOR and expecting on 23 May as per sheet.

Kindly suggest.

Once you get AOR, Send them amended forms with explanation letter mentioning it was a small error which you will like to rectify. No issues.

I am thinking that they don't reject my application due to this silly mistake.

Friends, I have a old indian panchayat paper dated 1990 as birth certificate. (The paper will tear if I blow air ;))
It has a stamp named after the village where I was born, and a sign on it.
The same village also reflects on my passport as birth place.

It does have my name, with my dads and moms, and grandfathers name, but it is in marathi.

My consultant has translated it in English. Besides this, I have also done a notarized copy with my dad and moms signature.
I am also attaching 10th passing out certificate copy `attested` reflecting the date of birth.

Is this sufficient ? Experienced comments please ??

Hi Goku,

Where can I find amended forms ?

If anyone knows about it then kindly assist here.
