I have applied online on 19april 2014 for open work permit..is there anyone who applied in april....plz share ur current status and details....

once my application has been refused and now I reapplied
so I am very much tensed...guys plz share ur stories

Hi I'm from philippines, I have an agency who process my Application in canada. I got my positive LMo and Work Visa last December 2013 and according to my agency I just need to wait for my employer to buy me a ticket. Is the hold regarding foreign workers in canada will affect also my Application even if I already signed my contract ang got my Lmo and visa last year before the moratorium appear?

Please enlighten me. I just want to be sure

Hi Rocel, based on the mentioned situation it is fair to say that it might be affected cause even if you have the requirements for you to come in Canada, you still have to pass the immigration in the port of entry which is vancouver or toronto (which ever port of entry you will land from the Phils) in there the immigration officer will decide to grant you a work permit and let you come in to Canada to work. But as of now CIC is taking also the moratorium on the work permit application on all TFW. Not only you would likely be affected even those who are here in canada who are TFW and whose work permit expires soon.

I know its a tough situation for you and for those TFW all over Canada especially this time.

Just hope and pray that the situation will be settled and will work again so TFW will be granted to work permanently in Canada.

OK, we had two rejections for the same reason, you must provide proof of assets. Show yours, your parents and in-laws assets. Then there won't be any reason to reject. By the way, he got a got a request for medicals.

My Documents: Indian/Canadian Bank Statements (2 Months), Tax receipts, T4 forms, Offer Letter, Pay Stubs (2 Months), Passport, Work Permit, Proof of assets in India/Canada, PR screen print from Ecas, PNP Certificate. Parents Tax papers, Assets, Bank Statements --- this is to show ties with home country.
Spouse Documents: Bank Statements (2M), experience letters and pay stubs (2M), Highest education certificate, Resume, parents assets/ tax papers.

Marriage Certificate, If married recently then max 20 pictures - Marriage & Casual.
