Good thing my plan to undergo med exam is on May 14. No waste of money for med. But we're all disappointed by now. We thought we well be one happy family again. Should i reapply, is there a chance of approval? My husband says there is a moratorium right now in Canada started on May 1. By the way,the refusal letter i received dtd May 1 also.

What is the NOC Code of your husband's job?

i don't know but i see code 7611 roofer installer, he said they're not affected, so far, only those in the fastfood chains.

ok, if not affected then you can re-apply. Earlier in the post, I have mentioned the list of documents I had submitted. Maybe that is of help to you.

Paper applications take time, But It's OK.. you have waited this long, just be positive that you will get it

What is a moratorium in this case? Is that a period during which one cant re-apply or appeal?

I was being tenstion day by day, i Have applied OWP(Paper Based) on April 3rd, till now i didn't get any updation.

Did any one got updation from Embacy.

I work in canada in noc B catogory, i applied for my wifes OWP on Feb 27, she did her medicals on 15th March as requested by cic, gave cic the additional documents they asked for including marriage pictures and t4's. Till now no response from cic. Just waiting and waiting

I work in BC, here as an Engineering Technologist, i did online application too...
yesterday i sent CIC an e-mail asking for some kind of an update on our application
see if they respond

it looks like its taking a lot of time now, my friend's app got rejected twice

i did sent an e-mail to CIC delhi the other day asking for some kind of an update, c wat happens

it seems they are taking too much time now, one of my friend got same problem he kept his file( online ) in feburary 2014. he got medical request in feb than after no updation but yesterday got call from delhi embassy, said that they are waiting for his passport to stamp visa, but he told i did not get any request from CIC so visa officer told it might be some tecnical problem now send passport we will stamp your visa. I got same problem i got medical request since march 27, 2014 but till than no updation just waiting for PPR. I live in Ottawa.
