I tried it already and they got rejected with the reason that purpose of visit is not clear and have no sufficient funds. I wrote them that we want to celebrate our 3rd wedding ani. together and showed them about 50k for funds.

gill85 - it makes complete sense, because an application for PR is in process and concurrently you applied for visitor/work visa for your husband - so its clear that your husband's intention was to permanently live here which contradicts with the purpose of a visitor visa - anyways i think its too late for you to apply for a visa and get him here. But like 'arif.jabbar' mentioned, there is very little chance for rejection and they may ask you to provide some documents to improvise your case.

So keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best - !!

Hi gill,
So we've got the different officer. Don't worry at all about the marriage thing.happened the same thing for me.they sent me an email and even called for the proof of the relationship.I just sent some of our photos from the last and our wedding. And obviously shows in my gcms nots that they were justified.for sure they will contact you for this. No rejecting based on that.
Good luck
Amla

Hey guys can we expect our PPR by this year mine been in process from August 27

Gill, it happens, they suspect all these things. If the marriage is genuine then there is nothing to worry about. Keep your documents, papers and videos ready if thats what it says on GCMS notes. You will be asked to furnish a few more documents I suppose, and soon you will get a PPR.

Now I have a little dilemma. I'm going for vacation on Dec 15 to Latin America for two weeks and then to other country for more two weeks and will be back Jan 16, 2014.
Not sure if I have enough time to send passports (3 of them) like tomorrow with pictures and get them back by the end of next week? I think it's too risky, to close to my travel.
On the other hand I have 60 days from today (Dec 05, 2013) to send passports for visa stamp till Feb 05, 2014.

Any suggestions guys? Did anyone had a similar situation?

Thanks a lot.

I am not in a similar situation but if I was I would send it after I get back from vacation considering I have 60 days to send. Because it might take up to a month to get back your passports if you send it tomorrow.
