I also received my GCMS notes recently.
It looked like I passed medical, eligibility, and criminality before they started to process my application. The files was updated with "passed" the same day they started processing. So, if your file is "in process" then you have probably passed those stages as well.

Still missing was: security, organized crime and HIRV (no idea what that is). There is also a point misrepresentation and ministerial relief, but I don't know if these are things that are "checked" or only apply in certain cases.

However, even though I received the file a few days ago, it was almost a month old (shortly after I requested it). I don't know if there were any changes in the meantime. Therefore I've requested my file today again.

I really, really hope that I get my PR in October, but I'm not counting on it.

Received GCMS Notes today...lol 3 days before (was due on 16 sep)....Its says File reviewed and all medical, criminality passed and file is transferred to location A87-PNP..what's this location?

Mine is ditto same story..Everything is passed except security and same day my file went 'in process'. I guess after 'in-process' our file goes theough security and after thoroughly going through my file, I saw latest activity as 'Security' which I suspect is started on 23rd August as on this date my file was transferred to A87-PNP which I don't know what it stands for. Although mang things (including security) was not interpreted properly, some information is blacked out (dnt know why). Lets hope our stars start shining too atleast I'm relaxed now that it's in it's final stage and any morning I can see PPR email

Blackwine if you are in Canada you can request GCMS notes via privacy act for free, very simple online. If you don't live in Canada ask a friend to do it for you.
Don't fall for one of the services that do the application for you for you, they don't do anything differently and the charges their charges are ridiculous.
I can't post links, just go on the CIC website and search for GCMS notes.

Blackwine if you are in Canada you can request GCMS notes via privacy act for free, very simple online. If you don't live in Canada ask a friend to do it for you.
Don't fall for one of the services that do the application for you for you, they don't do anything differently and the charges their charges are ridiculous.

Ordering for GCMS will not affect your application processing time.

It takes up to 30 calendar days. You should have gotten a confirmation email in which they explain it.
