I did not fill in the form with hand, but sent across the receipt as it is.
I did mention the information in the email body though. Does it matter?

MB1234 - As you explained, it seems you did it right. I see no problems in checking with CPP-O by e-mail; but i doubt they may respond to this question specifically. I tried doing so several times after paying my RPRF and never got any response. The only place where i found regarding RPRF payment status is on GCMS notes.

But like i said feel free to shoot an e-mail to CPP-O; make sure you send an e-mail with all the required details such as:

1. Surname (last name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document

2. Given name(s) (first name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document

3. Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)

4. Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number

5. Application number ( F#, EP#, E#, B#)

6. Type of application (Family Sponsorship, Canadian Experience Class, Provincial Nominee, Quebec Skilled Worker

Well instruction specifically say that fillout the form and email it to CPP-Ottawa. That way i did was Fillout the form and i put my information on email boday just to amke sure. But i dont know wheather they updat my file or not.

Anyone - how can I get my status for receipt of payment at Ottawa? Do I need to obtain GCMS notes? if yes - how to obtain GCMS notes?

Hello nsapp,
I didn't fill out the form either. Just sent it out to cost recovery email with my application info in my email.I sent an email to cppo Ottawa and informed them too. My Gcms notes show that they received it. Don't worry.Even now you can fill it out the form and email it again with an explanation.its gonna be okay.

There is no cause for panic. As long as you gave your details in the email, you should be fine. There might be a problem only if more than one person presents the same receipt for payment.

I really appreciate the responses to my question. I cannot thank you all enough for the support I get from this forum.
I will resend my receipt which will clarify things in case there was any mishap. But I do believe that everything is alright.
Also thanks for the link to get GCMS notes....

I am Confused, ordering GCMS notes is done online, or by attaching the forms and send them by email. In addition if someone is ordering it on my behalf what form exactly i have to fill.

http://www.visafile.info/ - I used this service. Paid by PayPal, got CIC form in pdf, printed it out, signed, scanned and sent back to them. As per my understanding, they apply online, but will get my case by regular mail on a CD. I see two options after that - they will sent me few e-mails with schanned files either an URL to download the whole file.

I ordered my 1st GCMS through the e mail on March 2013 and 2nd GCMS through the online on Nov 2013,both are takes 30 days long to get it....if you are inland applicants I think online is better option... choose the privacy act ... this is free for inland applicants.

Although I outside Canada applicant (not USA), I got my RPRF request from Ottpilot-Immigration. Does this mean that my file is being processed at Ottawa?!

He can but you have to give him a Singed IMM 5476 (Form IMM 5476 Use of a Representative) and he has to attach this form when time to apply GCMS.
Ya, that's correct you file will finales at Ottawa.
IMM 5476 you can find from CIC website.

Can I use imm5475e instead?
Why my file is at Ottawa, I read in their web site that its only for people applying from within Canada or USA, and I am not. Is this is normal or common.
