Hello Everyone,

I have applied for CBSA report because there are 3 trips made where the officer forgot or was lazy enough not to stamp my passport. I sent a request to CBSA with a 5 dollars cheque and haven't heard back from them since early November. The cheque hasn't even been deposited yet. I am afraid I had sent the request to a wrong address. does anyone know the CBSA address at which I should sent the request. Please share.

The address I used was: 410 Laurier Avenue West, 10th Floor
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0L8

Is this correct?

Thanks in advance.

I sent there too and I got my CBSA report in about six weeks. I didn't provide a cheque though.

CBSA officers do not have to stamp passports unfortunately.

And if the CBSA report will not show your 3 trips what is the best way to prove them? I am in a similar situation.......

Wow.

I should probably bring all evidence of my travels such as boarding passes from my trips.

Sure, I would strongly recommend it if you want your interview to go smooth and fast.

Suin,
If I may ask, what part of Canada are you in?

Ontario. My local office is Mississauga.

May I ask you folks how long (on an average) it took/taking for you folks to write the test after your application was received by CIC Sydney. My application was received Oct 24/2013. When can I possibly expect a test (assuming no complications - routine) and the reason I am curious to know this is because I might take some time off work and be out of Canada spring and summer of 2014. Please share your timelines and I am just looking for one average timeline to write the test.

Thank you kindly,

What is your Local Office? This determines speed of transfer from Sidney and schedule for test/ oath.

Msafiri - It is Saskatoon, SK. Mind you, I have not received the AOR yet - probably mid January. Thanks,

Prairies are in the slow lane for processing..seems to be taking 12 months + just to transfer the file from Sidney to the Local Office once ecas is in process where the file then sits again waiting for a test schedule. Expect another 4-6 month wait for testing.

This is somewhat like going to the clinic where you have an appointment only to find the 3 appointments before you are yet to see the doctor, you eventually get attended to and ushered into a waiting room only to found out that this is actually a 'holding' area and there are still 3/4 appointments ahead of you in their own 'holding' rooms all waiting to see your doctor but the patients in the main entrance area are under the illusion the doctor will be attending to them soon!!

The solution is to have more doctors but hey that's way to difficult to deal with!
