Thank you very much! I wish they would schedule the ceremony before Christmas... We were told that the people who had test in the morning got their oath letter with the ceremony scheduled for December 18th... That sucks. I guess in this case - first come first serve.

Thank you! We were told that we would get the oath letter within 4-6 weeks... Generic answer I guess.

@ Suin

Congratulations

Can you please let us know what questions were asked in the interview ?

Thank you! :) We had around 50 people taking the test and 4 officers interviewing. The interviews were going really slow - they were checking each stamp in the passport, giving really hard time to whose who had a stamp missing or struggled to give an explanation to their absence and travel. I did not hear the questions that were asked, but could see and feel all the tenseness and unhappiness in the officers voices.
I was mentally ready for the worse... but as it occurred I had the simplest and fasted interview. My case was different, I guess, because my husband is Canadian (born) and I have a kid who was born in Canada as well. Also I had just two trips out of the country - both trips were to the country of my origin. The officer just checked the stamps in my passport, asked about the way I got residence status and asked whether my kids were in school, also asked whether I was still employed at the same place and living at the same address.
Then I was told that my file was looking good and they would mail the oath letter to me in 4 to 6 weeks time.

Congs Suin!

Did they check every single page of the passport?
Did they check the original immigrant visa and the stamp when you landed?

Thank you! Yes, they did check each page of my passport and all the stamps and visas I got in there.
