My colleague told me that once you are at the stage that would require the medical exam, it'll be smooth sailing.

Also, looking at others' timeline, we're almost there! Keep us posted.

Of course! I hope your colleague is right! ;D

I would email them again, ask for conformation in the email that they have seen your change of address

I've had trouble updating my address online.

So I called them to let them know the online tool was not updating my address change, and to update (and validate) while on the phone.

The agent will ask you if you have a few min and they will validate for you, right there and then.

But when I got my MR, the wrong address was on the form... So I called them again to double check if this will be a fall back to the application process, but the agent kindly told me to move forward with the medical exam and to email them to let them know that the online profile address is not being reflected on the form.

Make sure you put in all the information when emailing!

ie, UCI, Full name, DOB, program, etc

Congrats deepahuja!! U must be feeling like on cloud 9 right now :) good luck landing!
and congrats on a whole bunch of people getting medicals. ur so close!

bluelagoon - check my landing experience on page 90 of this post. i landed in rainbow bridge. not sure exactly how long it takes for an appointment with local CIC office, but i heard it could take like 3 months. the fastest way is to go to the border and do landing there. unless u have no rush and/or cant go to border for some reason.

Thanks Kaytea. I called CIC today and they told me the appointment would be in around 4-6 weeks since I get my COPR.
I live in Calgary, so I'm planning to go to south alberta like Del Bonita or Coutts for landing.

Just got my medical last week and this morning i got an email again from cic and they are requesting me to pay the rigth of permanent resident fee ( rprf).. What does that means.
