gmmpjcf said:Hi Everyone,
I am a skilled worker here in Alberta as well as my husband. My application has been received this April but i cannot wait to bring my two kids here.
They are 17 and 16 years old. I heard about applying them for study permit but confused about the requirements. Is anyone here to give some advise?
Thank you

kprs_ind said:To apply the study permit, kids should have an offer from a school or university. Try in other forums, as the people here will be well-versed in CEC process.

CEC2013 said:Dont stress yourself out! I did a bank draft from a Canadian bank and even they couldnt give me a realistic status report. I was told that there is always a lag between when the draft is cashed and processed. For instance, they cashed my draft, but it took 7 days to post to account. So I didnt know anything until after I received my AOR.
The PAFSO debacle is not helping either. Be patient! We have been waiting for 8 months now and are stressed, but imagine those waiting since last year, this time. The real wait begins when you get AOR. If you did everything right....then have some faith.![]()
