April 2013 Applications

Hey Guys,

I was going through this forum and found out the April 2013 applicatants. I applied my documents on april 9th through Canada post and Sydney CIO recieved it by April 15th. But the expected date to recieve a confirmation was on 27th May. Any idea why I havent recieved any emails from them?

Or should I be worried ?? :

We are showing in our thread about expected predictable date not the exact date. So don't worry you will get you AOR within this week or next. Good luck and welcome to 2013 April CEC applicants forum.

according to current trends, you should receive AOR around June 3rd..

Medical request takes about 7-9 months for most applicants.. it depends on various factors as everybody's file is different from the other by some factors...

Hello guys,lengthy question ave applied under CEC on April 22nd. My wife is the major applicant as she eligible due to her post graduate education and work experience. I am her dependent. I have submitted all the documents but did not submit my Canada's Police Clearance but submitted my wifes as she is the main applicant whereas I have been in Canada for more than a year. I have submitted my Indian PCC. Would this delay my process or it is OK. Pls help.. I know its a leng

Canadian Police Clearance is not a upfront requirement under CEC. All applications can be submitted without Canadian Police Clearance. It has to be submitted only if CIC calls for it at a later date.

Anyone knows if the application gets return, do they include a letter explaining why it was returned?

And also, if I paid by money order, how will they refund the processing fee to me? By cheque?

Yes they will mention why your application is returned. In my case a page was missing, so they took printout of the page, highlighted with a marker and mentioned that in the missing documents (written by someone against the form's name).
They will return the same money order to you, you can just resubmit when you resubmit the application

Thanks Siroccoon! How long did it take for you to received ur application back? Mine was received on April 22 but I havent heard anything yet, I think someone here said it usually takes around 30 days only if it gets returned.

I got the my AOR last night, finally the expected date was 27th May but recieved it on 28th May which is still close ... and thanks Miranja.
