The cc I used (a friend's) got charged right away - for both the CEC and BOWP application. I noticed that this isn't the case with everyone else... what does this mean?kdb said:My CC hasn't been charged yet, did anyone got their's charged? I my application reached on May 19th.

Can anyone please let me know from what email ID will we be receiving the AOR?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks InfoSeeker... Your words are always encouraging!InfoSeeker12 said:LC,
Im not surprised, if it gets charged right away. Literally 2-3 days after they receive your documents, CIC charges your CC. Perhaps then docs are put in a que to be reviewed.
Dont worry about it.
Sorry to hear that. Hope it goes well the next time. I'm worried now because my national ID was not "officially translated" (it's just an ID card with my name, DOB, etc). - though it says "if applicable". =Ssipkenz said:My application got returned. My Birth Certificate was not translated.
Is it ok if translate it myself and notarized?
My national ID card is not translate either. As I know we can translate a document but not a card like NID or DL. But the attorney wrote a note that this is my NID and mention the data of it such a name DOB.kaytea said:Sorry to hear that. Hope it goes well the next time. I'm just praying mine doesn't get returned....
Also, I think either some people are confused or I am confused about something in the spreadsheet. Someone please clarify this for me:
Date received at CIO sydney = date that Canada Post said the documents were delivered and received
ECAS: application received = Date we see on ECAS shows that the application was received OR the date it says it was received?
Normally if you have any document mistake, or you didn't submit requested document, the file will be return from centralized intake office. you will not get AOR. but for now you have to wait till you get the AOR. just in case if your file return, they will send you the explanation letter along with a file package. if file return because of your birth certificate translation. just write a letter telling that it is already translated along with original language.LCM21 said:Question... If CIO rejects and sends back your application, but it's a mistake, will they accept it and process your application after all if you have a good reason?
I am just asking because I didn't get my birth certificate translated, as it has the English translation in a small print on there already. But now I wonder, if they don't notice that and therefore reject my application (at first), can it be "re-accepted" afterwards?
Sorry guys, it's just an evening of immigration insecurities again. Should probably spend less time on the forum here while waiting for my AOR :

Date of recieve, yes it is the dilivered date that you can see in your tracking page with Canada post, UPS, FedEx ect. But Ecase mean the recieving date that you can see on CIC web page as it received.
