I just joined this forum and I'm happy I found this group. Makes the waiting time a little bit nicer. I would like to be on the April 2013 spreadsheet but I can't send private messages at the moment. It's not working on my phone and I'm still waiting for internet access at our new condo so that I can use the laptop again.

Febgrl05, if you look at Manila spreadsheet, you seem to be ok since all the others have the same timeline, so I don't think you need to worry )) have faith!!

Medical results have been received.

Thanks NicAnn for adding me. My boyfriend calls me little apple sometimes that's why I chose it as a nickname ;-)

When you get the message *decision made*, how do you now that it is a positive result until you get the actual confirmation? Just wondering...

Two months is really fast. Wow! Especially when the average processing time is a year or more...

I got a Letter from Beijing Embassy one hour ago.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that your application has been finalised and that you will receive the visa(s), passport(s) and other documents by EMS in the coming weeks to the mailing address on your file. Please be patient and wait for the mail to arrive. Please note that if you are represented by an agent it is our department's policy to use the agent's mailing address for all official documents such as Medical Instructions and Visa(s).

If we have provided you with an EMS number you may track the mail, please visit the Express Mail Service website: www.ems.com.cn/english.html (it is normal for the EMS number to be activated on line only after it reaches the processing centre, this can take 24-48 hours).

For information on arrival in Canada please consult the CIC publication A Newcomer’s Introduction to Canada and the publication Welcome to Canada: What you should know.

does anyone here know why there is two different UCI number for husband and wife and has same file number? its been 5 months it still says decision made and med recievedd.

The file number is for the application package itself but the UCI number is your individual (!) client number. I got mine when I first applied for a work permit in 2011 and it will always be the same. My boyfriend got his UCI after applying as my sponsor.
