APRIL 2013 Applicants!

Okay so CIC-M received our application on April 4th 2013, my wife got the AOR on April 23rd at 2:00pm. still no SA I wouldn't be stressed out but her sister applied on the same day as us (same visa office and everything) and received both AOR and SA on April 26th. Just wondering why there's such a big gap for us?

did anyone else get both the 1st AOR and SA on the same day? It's day 7 now since we received the AOR and no SA yet our case was as straightforward as it can possibly get. no previous marriages, no dependents, i haven't even traveled outside my country before!

the stress is killing me! ecas just says 'application recieved'

At least this process is teaching us patience. ;D it's like waiting for your finals back or something

congrats to all those who got their SA just praying for ours to come through soon!

My guess is that by the end of this week you will get SA confirmation

Thanks Sweden.. Called 1800 number today. Sponsorship was approved and file was transferred on April 23rd.

Chala...Summerside...and anyone else recently receiving they're AOR and Sponsor Approval...I realize some are notified by email...and some by snail mail...I'm curious as to how anybody recently has been notified of either.
I'm actually just coming up to two weeks since FedEx receipt of our application...Ive checked ECAS with a receipt number generated by an on-line payment...and nothing appears to be in the system yet..I KNOWWW its early and I know each situation is unique...but wondering how you folks were notified of receipt and then approval? Thanks! )

AOR was notified by email. I checked Ecas yesterday and found Decision made under sponsorship status with a message that letter has been mailed on April 23rd. I called CIC number and they told me that sponsorship had been approved on April 23rd and I should be getting letter in mail very soon.

Usually they notify you of AOR by email. I didn't get any email and when I enquired they told me that they had my email wrong. By the way I can not access ecas by using the receipt number. Instead I use my UCI and info or her UCI and info. Best wishes for a smooth and successful process.

Yea I talked with representative. Just checked ecas too, still says application received under permanent residency status

For the first time I'm able to use ECAS and see our informations.

What surprise me, is that even if I filled all my papers with computer and generated barcodes, they entered my postal address wrong !

I'll have to call them tomorrow, because they'll send approval letter at the wrong place... They put a city where I've never lived !

With all stories about wrong emails and now I have wrong postal address, I wonder how we can trust all the process !

I need that letter to send my application for CSQ in Quebec. If I don't have this letter, I can't send my application in Quebec.

Hello P90X. Our application got there at the same time basically. and we both will come to Québec. So, I need this letter as well. My husband called today and according to him, the woman said they are working on application from march 25.
The e-cas you guys say is on the official website "My application"?

Yes, my application and check application status. I use application number they gave me in the AOR email + my wife's info... I can see that my wife's address is my address,
but they put the wrong city !!!!!!

The lady said March 25th because it's the "official" info you'll find on the website but after tomorrow they'll update it to April 3rd, that's why we should have SA this week

But I need to make sure they have all my correct infos in their system... Imagine if I didn't see this and wait several weeks just because they put the wrong info.

I would like to be able to check all infos from my application to make sure everything's ok...
