When I just post my application I could not sleep !! But now I'm Just playing the waiting game !! I was worried about not having alot of pictures!! But I guess I jus send pics of ur wedding ! Wedding shower , dates , Xmas birthdays , val day pic !! Do you think that's enough pics?

Sounds like you got many to me...we had quite a few, Christmas, his aunt's birthday, family reunion, vacations (Bahamas baby! yeah!) pictures with his parents (who have since passed away) his sisters, my brothers, his aunts and uncles....we wanted to put in more, but it got to the point that we said "enough!!!" I think it was enough to show that we did a bunch of family stuff together. That proves relationship (I hope)...

Pictures wise, my husband and I weren't picture crazy. We included pictures we had from vacations and cards we had exchanged - it was hard to not have many pictures. What we did to compensate for the photos was to prove that we had been together (dates, spending time, meeting family) nearly every day since we met, through letters of support from family, bank statements and some receipts we kept for sentimental purposes.

We sent ours with our package because hubby thought it might cause a delay in the process. I think you can send it in once you have a case file number after sponsor approval (?) Hopefully someone knows more about this than I do.

We sent ours with the package as well to avoid delays. The only risk that you run with that is that the medicals will expire (one year validity) before your application processing is complete. Though I understand that CIC will extend the length of the validity if you have a clean bill of health. I believe that I read somewhere sending it with the package would save them requesting it later. I think that once you have sent the package though - with no AOR as of yet - you will have to wait for the medical exam until CIC requests it. My husband already had a client ID number because he's here on a work permit. I would definitely give CIC a call to clear up any confusion, they helped my husband and I when we were unsure of the processes.

The Nic portion of my name put you on the spreadsheet last night. Now I (the Ann portion) am catching up to what was said etc yesterday. The spreadsheet says "Outland applicants" but you (and Greatness) are inland, and have been included as well. We can watch and learn and encourage each other here on this thread, eh!

Hello April 2013 applicants! I was about to become one of you today, when...

Well, we had everything nicely packed for the courier today [outland spouse sponsorship] when I noticed that they changed the format of the IMM 1017 for medicals ever since Nov 1 2012!

I had my medicals done in December and the doctor gave me the old one [copy 2 of medical examination record].

I was relieved that I hadn't sent the package as it was but I started panicking immediately when I realized that I don't know what to do next!

I'm now trying to find out if anyone has sent the old format since Nov 1 2012 and had it approved by CPC-M and/or the VO.

Going to call the doctor and the VO in my country tomorrow - hoping that the doctor will agree to give me the new IMM 1017 based on the medical examination which I already had done OR that the VO will be certain that the old form is acceptable. However, I wouldn't feel comfortable with sending the old one - what if CPC-M decides they don't approve of it?

Do you have any ideas on this issue?

Hoping that my issue will be solved soon, I have to say that I can't wait to become one of you.

I don't know if you have to wait until they ask you for it, but I would at least wait until you have a case file number for your application. Someone that is more knowledgeable might know more about this and be more helpful in answering your question.
