Hello Toronto1977 :


I had the same doubt initially and started calling courier companies. I have contacted DTDC, DHL, FEDEX, INDIAPOST & PROFESSIONAL couriers... Only DTDC & DHL accepted that they accept passports. I had to call these courier companies a couple of times to check if i get the same answer before going with DHL... My passport has now reached my consultant in Toronto...

I have sent my Passport from Indian to Detroit Via Canada.. Happy that its been delivered safe... Hope they will stamp my PR Visa soon and send it back... :).... Happy at the moment.. Thanks for ur wishes.

Just wondering if anyone would be able to share the general timeline is like to receive PPR after they've done the medical?!
I did mine on Dec. 5th 2012 and plan to visit my home town in May 2013 though is afraid of getting everything postponed.

I.E. PPR=>OTTAWA=>BORDER LANDING=>WAITING FOR MAPLE CARD ...

I've heard/seen that it is better to receive maple card before plan any travels or else required to apply special travel doc.
Anyhow, just hope everything clicks in time ...

hi paulpaya, i did my medical on oct 31st, received my PPR on Dec 11. hope that helps!

So, it roughly takes one month and 11 days for you to receive PPR ...

WoW ... that's pretty fast ...
Just hope I will get it soon too ...

How long does it take for Medicals to reflect on the eCas status?
My Medicals reached Ottawa on 19th December, the eCas still says "We started processing your application XXX"


Can anyone share their timelines in this regard ? Is there a way to call CIC to confirm the same?

just waiting to get CoPP now and landed i going on my vacation in end of this month hope i can get it before that.

hey don't need to worry, my eCas status still showing process but i alread got my PPR end of last month
