my ECAS status was changed to IN PROCESS "we started processing your application in oct 20", same day as when i received my MR which was oct 22, so i think that's how it is.

My status is changed to IN PROCESS too.
"We started processing your application on December 1, 2012."
I got PCC request on Dec 1 and MR on Dec 3!

I seriously don't know how things at CIC works. It has been over 2 months since ECAS changed to "IN PROCESS" but to this day, no MR.

Maybe send them an email? OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca. And also make sure you check your spam folders.

I had it in process for 6 years on my old application with nothing done on my application. We're practically mainly in the dark hoping for a glimpse of hope from cic.

After medicals I think they start doing background checks..my spouse was born in Middle East but iam the principle applicant and I was not born in Middle East .Will this situation delay my processing.please reply

I also want to know what happens after medicals. More than two months after I did finish my medicals still no PPR.

not true. i sent them an email asking the status of my application. i'd done my medicals back in first week of october. and they say they're waiting for the results of the 'mandatory background enquiry.'

same here. i did my medicals end of September. they werer delivered first week of october. ecas was updated on 22nd of october with 'medicals received.''''
since...nothing.

after my email inquiry, they said "we're waiting on the status of the mandatory bankground enqiury."
so, itl ooks like i'll be waiting for many more months or years. maatherchods.

My Ecase showed in Process on the day (Nov. 26th 2012) when CIC issued MED REQ.
I've just done my MED EXAM & will take 5 business days for the clinic to send out report.

Spoke to consultant regarding to the chances of getting PPR for my X'MAS wish ...
The chances could be mere as December tends to be slow somehow ...

Though this may not be absolute ...
Just try to stay optimistic & enjoy the holiday ...

My ecas shows In Process, and I noticed today that it says medicals have been received. Not really sure what happens now and how long is the wait. Judging by the posts of some other applicants, seems to me that it can take decent amount of time between medicals received by cic and cic sending you ppr.

Lets hope for the best!
