Friends anybody got rejected after medicals?.Please help to understand the case where the application got rejected after medicals.

I never heard of it happening although it is possible. they only ask for medicals after they are done with criminal, and selection.

Does that mean they yet have to do main checks like NOC code,Reference letters etc

Did they provide a reason of rejection? I would guess the reason must be medical...

No shashali iam just understanding the process what I want to know is what checks they do before sending medicals and after sending Medicals would be great if anybody got any information

The general understanding is that requesting your medicals is the last step in the decision process, i.e. all other qualifications/checks were done and were found satisfactory.

At what stage you got the refusal email was it before medicals or after medicals.

I don't know what happened. I received my medical exam request on Sep 26, 2012. I did the exam Sep 29, 2012. Send Oct. 10. ECAS shows "Medical results have been received". However, three months later I still didn't receive my PPR. :'(

I applied from India, Mentioned New Delhi as my processing center, CPP- Ottawa has still instructed me to submit my passport in Detroit. Sent emails to CPP- Ottawa as well as Detroit office in regards to this. No reply yet.... 28th December would be my last date to submit my passport.... hope they reply back soon...

I am just about to do my medical on Wednesday but just came into my mind that I need to bring 2 photos on the day ...
My question is can I bring the same photo on the Section A to Dr.'s office ... ?!

The photos must be Canadian Passport size photos (50mm x 70 mm)
They must not be more than 6 months old
I was asked to get 3 photos....Would advise you to carry atleast 3 for each family member
The photos must have the name of the company who shot the pic and also the date when the pic was taken

Hi there, for those who got their PPRs already, how long did it take for u to get PPR after they updated your ECAS status to medical received? Thanks a lot.

From what I see in the forum, on an average, applicants have to wait between 1-3 months between 'Medicals Received' status in E-CAS and PPR.

You could see some cases where it was faster. There are exceptions where applicants had to wait longer than 3 months and even years, may be because they are from certain regions/countries requiring additional security checks or something else in their file raising a red flag.
