Thank you! Hope it'll go by fast, not just for me but everyone. :)
I'm super excited that I got to update my signature and sidebar :P

It's always nice to see movement on the side bar!!!!!! ;D

So happy that most of you guys are approved. CIC improved the average by 5 days from March to April...I guess that's a start..I guess we were the guinea pigs for ottawa. Hang in there let's hope that now that they are back on track the ones being processed for stage2 in ottawa will finally hear something! it's only been 65 days for me....some longer!

From what I saw on the Buffalo/Ottawa spread sheet, people were averaging another 3 months on stage 2 in Buffalo. Even if Ottawa keeps that trend, it'll be better than 12 months which is what CIC predicts.

congrats to all who have recieved approval ;D
have a wonderful long weekend

From what the CIC website says, if you apply In-Canada then the wait time is 11 months for just stage 1 approval (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp).

I don't know how true this is, but that was one of the reasons why I chose not to file In-Canada. Hopefully there's someone who has applied In-Canada that can help. I know there's a forum post for those applying in Canada (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/inland-applications-2012-t90875.0.html)

Hope that helps. :)

Thank you, very much!
Good luck!

Good to see the last few approvals. Congrats all round ;D

Am I the only one left for April? I don't want to look at the spreadsheet anymore. How would I know if there is a problem with my papers? Or wait for me is really so long? Has anyone waited this long to get denied... or everyone got approved?

I suggest calling them, and telling them that you are well above the suggested wait period, and you need some answers. They have to look into it.

i have tried calling but cant get an agent... any tips on how to? and i can only do that from 8-4 M-F ... i wish there was a special line... or what if i emailed?

I find the best time to call is as they open, I get through a few times, usually Tuesday/Wednesday at 8-9 am .. I press 1 1 1 0 ..

I also heard somewhere on this forum, the french lines are alot faster to get through, so if you speak alittle french, u can go that route, speak alittle french, then switch to english :D

I press 1 2 2 UCI YearofBirth 0.... is this wrong?

Personally I don't think it's wrong, either way, you well get to an agent. All of the agents are your standard information agents, there are none that specialize in certain departments ( so I am lead to believe ), the reason I do 1 1 1 0, is for convince, less to punch in, so if need be I can recall and try again faster

I once went 4 hours of constant calling, before I got through, though this was on a monday, and it was from 12 - 4 pm
